I checked the map to see which gym I should go to next. The next town, Serene town, after the psychic, Serena, was where my dad now stayed while studying pokemon.
I sent out Glade. "Teleport me to as close to Serene town you can get me to, Glade!"
Glade nodded and then teleported us. My tummy was squirming for about an hour after the experience. I looked back, to see that I was only a few hundred metres away from the place I teleported from. I walked forward, and the next thing I knew, George was running towards me.
"Hey, George. What are you doing here?"
"Oh, well... I started collecting badges too, I have three now, ooh, you have three too... and I am came here to battle Charles Jason, but when I entered the gym, I saw some Mystic goons kidnap him. I tried to stop them, but they went on. I've already told Ms. Jenny, but then I saw you and thought I should tell you too."
I clutched George's shoulder for support and said, "Charles Jason... is my dad!"I knew I had to do something. "Do you know where they took him?"
"They took him into a cave there. I was too scared to go alone."
"Come on," I said. "First I want to heal my pokemon."
We went to the Pokecentre and healed our pokemon. Then, we went to the cave."Please stay back," Ms.Jenny said.
"Please, ma'am. That's my dad they abducted. I have to go save him."
"Actually... no... okay. There is a way you can help us. You can crawl through a space between the rocks and bring the wall down."
"How do I bring it down?" I asked.
"Use this." Ms. Jenny have me the TM Rock Slide.
"Thanks."
I taught the move to Graveller. Then we crept through a small gap in the rocks.
"Go Graveller! Use-"
Before I could say anything, some one else said," Cleffa, Metronome!"
A wave of water splashed onto Graveller. Graveller barely hung on.
"Again!"
No! Graveller fainted! Now I couldn't do anything but battle this guy.
"Come back, Graveller! Go, Glade! Use Psychic!"
Yes, Cleffa fainted!
"Who are you? I asked.
"Yes, who are you?" George said.
Nothing happened. We went forwards a bit... and fell into a ditch!
I took out my flashlight. Glade, George and I were OK. I called Glade back and looked around. There was a light at the end of this tunnel. We crept over to the light.Ms Jenny's POV
What is taking them so long? "Arcanine, can you smell them?"
"Arroof," Arcanine replied.
"No? Then where are they...?"Jason's POV
Whoa... what is this place? I squinted at a small chair in the middle of a cavern. Wait. That... it's dad!
"Listen, George. I and Glade will draw them away. I need you to seize the chance, free dad and get out of here."
"OK, Jason," George replied. "We'll teleport out if here with the help of my Kadabra."
"Cool," I replied. "Go Glade. Come on!" I ran into the cavern and shouted: 'Who let the Mew out? Who? Who?'
Thinking back, that was quite ridiculous, but it did the job. The goons, half laughing, turned to face me.
Through the corner of my eye, I saw George untie dad, both shaking with helpless laughter. Duh, dad. I come to save you and you laugh.
"Come on, Glade! Confusion!"
Glade hesitated a bit, not sure about attacking people, but finally used the move. Every body in the attack's range, which was all of the goons, started tripping, or saying stuff that didn't make any sense. Then, I and Glade ran back to the other two (dad and George) and we teleported back out.
A team had drilled through the wall, and had got inside. We gave them a shock. Then we explained why we didn't open the way for the officers, and what happened down there to Ms. Jenny.
"Wow, Jason, that was quite brave of you," Ms. Jenny said when I told her about how I distracted the goons. Then George told her what I shouted. I became red with embarrassment and elbowed George.
Tomorrow, I'll challenge dad. Until then, good bye, readers, and wish me luck!
