Chapter 2: I love you!

Michelle's POV:

"Ryan just asked me to prom!" Naomi stated, no never mind she screamed.

"That's great! I am happy for you! Now put a sock in it!" Mackenzie said

" Okay okay, everyone calm down. What's the gossip?" Ethan said as he kissed Erin.

" Not here, dood." Chipper said.

"So Ryan just asked Naomi to the dance and she is flipping out." Carter stated. He said it smoothly so my ears just rang like a doorbell humming it's tune when someone rings it.

"Ohhh." Ethan and Chipper said in unison.

"You haven't spoken your thoughts on this, Michelle. You usually aren't so quite." Erin said as everyone shared worried glances towards each other.

"What? Oh yea I was lost in thought I guess. I think Ryan is just a jock. I know you love him but I wouldn't get attached to him. I don't want you to get hurt." I said. I would know I dated him and he is just like I said, a jock who will hurt you.

" Pfff. he would never do that! I think your jealous! just because I got asked to the dance and you didn't!" Naomi quickly shot back.

Her words stung. I felt like someone kicked my stomach. I watched her glance at me with fire-like eyes. I felt tears form in my eyes. I ran off and I heard footsteps follow me. I figured it was Mackenzie, Erin, Ethan, Chipper and Carter. I felt two arms being put around me. When I looked up it was Mackenzie and Carter. The others just sat on the ground a stared at it as though it was the best thing in the world at the moment. Finally Chipper spoke.

"What a jerk!" I gave a little giggle.

Carter stood up with his hands cupped around mine. I stood up with him and stared at him. Then he spoke.

"Michelle," he began, " The first day I looked at you, I knew that you were the most beautiful girl in the world. Now I look at you and I still think the same thing, but with a little more passion. Michelle, I love you." I stood there frozen. Was he really saying this? I pinched my self to make sure I wasn't dreaming. I wasn't. I glanced at everyone and the all had smirks in their faces. I looked back at him.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I didn't know what to do. Then I did.

"Yes!" I replied I jumped on him pinning him to the ground laughing. Then I realized that everyone was staring. They all seemed to have tears in their eyes. They thought it was the cutest thing ever. I am just glad he is mine.
