V1 The Shining Beacon Pt1

(Devans pov)

Devan and Ruby are in a dark room with a table in the middle. Ruby was looking down whale Devan was walking around trying to get a signal in his Phone. Devan looks at Ruby and sighs. 

Devan: you look down?

Ruby: I just wanted an autograph. *looks at Devan* did we do something wrong? 

Devan puts his Phone in his pocket and walks over to Ruby and sits on the table.

Devan: we saved a Shop owner from getting robbed. so no, but we did start a shoot-out. 

the lady from before walks into the room and looks at Devan and Ruby. 

Lady: off the table. do you two realize that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly? You two put yourself's and others in great danger.

Devan/Ruby: they started it.

Devan looks at the woman and slams his hands against the table making Ruby jump.

Devan: you're the one who decided to make a storm that shot raiser sharp ice at the plane you could have hurt someone. me and Ruby only damaged a window. and besides that, the roof we were on was destroyed when you and that other lady finished your fight. 

Devan and the lady look at each other. All Devan gets is a grunt.  

Lady: if it were up to me you'd be sent home with a pat on the back and a slap on the wrist.

as she said that she whips the table making Ruby gasp and pull her hand back Devan just looks at her.

Lady: but someone wants to meet the two of you.

when she said this me and Ruby look at each other in confusion as a man in a black cote and green shirt with Morpheus glasses walks into the room and sits down in front of us.

someone likes the movie matrix. the man looks and smiles at me before he looks at Ruby. 

Man: Ruby Rose, you have silver eyes. 

Devan: I said the same thing, they're pretty.

the man lightly laughs at us as we both blush redder than her hoody.

Man: so where did you two learn how to do this without bumping into each other? *shows footage of Devan and Ruby fighting* 

Devan/Ruby: it just felt natural. 

Devan: but now that I think about it. when me and Ruby were fighting, it felt like we fought like that before. Please tell me I'm not the only one thinking this. *looks at Ruby*

Ruby: now that you say it out loud. I've been thinking the same thing. 

Man: hmm... where did you two learn how to fight? 

Ruby: Signal Academy.

Devan: my father and mother.

man: Ruby, I doubt Signal would teach you how to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?

a Scythe is the most dangerous weapon? I always thought a nuke was bad. but a Scythe?

Ruby: whale there was a man who helped me but besides him. one was a teacher.

Man: I see, do you remember the man who helped you?

Ruby: no I-I don't remember his face.

Man: I see.  

he placed a plate of cookies on the table and jesters us to have some I grabbed one and take a bite it was pretty good. I look over at Ruby that has two in her hand and who knows how many in her mouth.
