RWBY: Electric Rose

V2 The Disk

Roman and Hunter are torturing/interrogating the Fang Hunter, Snow is watching from the side lines.

Hunter: how do you keep finding where we are?

Fang Hunter: because you're d-dumb.

Roman: I think he needs some time to rethink what he's going to say.

Roman goes to punch the Fang Hunter but he head buts Romans hand making a cracking sound. Roman screams in pain as Fang Hunter weakly laughs.

Fang Hunter: that's what happens w-when you keep punching a ma-mask... made from the strongest material the Atlas military has to offer.

Hunter: for fuck sake Roman. *sighs* let's go.

Hunter, Roman and Snow all leave the room. Roman sits down whale Snow and Hunter look at Fang Hunter through the one sided glass.

Hunter: who is this guy?

Snow: he has the fighting stile of my so- Devan.

Hunter: he spared me when we first fought, I thought for sure that he was Devan... *looks at Snow* but now I don't know.

Snow walks in side the room and grabs a chair. She brings it in front of Fang Hunter and sits down, Roman walks to the glass and watches to see what will happen.

Snow: I know why you're kil-

Fang Hunter: what the fuck do you know!? You're the clone of a fucken slut! Who got to scared of her husband's power!

Snow: *eyes widen* how did you know I'm a clone!? 

Fang Hunter: HAHAHAHAHA!!

Snow: what's so funny!?

Fang Hunter: *clears throat* your  look of confusion. I remember it so well.

Snow: what do you mean?

Fang Hunter: look it doesn't fucken madder. I'm not Devan. *razes hands with the cuffs in his hands* I'm better and I know I can be of value to... your little group. Trust me. 

Snow looks at Roman and he slowly nods, she sighs in anger and frustration as she looks at Fang Hunter knowing he's smiling under his mask.   

Snow: fine... lets get to work. 

One day later. Rubys pov

in are dorm me, Yang, Weiss and Blake are getting ready to figure out what the White Fang are doing.

Blake: I thought class would never end.

Ruby: I definitely thought Devan would be back by now do you guys think something happened to him?

Yang: your talking about the guy that was hit by a Death Stalker fought off hundreds of Grimm and fights White Fang on the daily. He's  fine... I think. 

Weiss: *crosses arms* nice.

Ruby: the investigation begins. *jumps off bed*

Weiss: I'm glad to see that we are taking this so seriously.

Ruby: every one remember their roles?

Weiss: *points to Ruby* you and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies, or inconsistencies.

Ruby: I kind of wanted Devan to join us on that one.

Weiss: it would have made it easer.

Blake: the White Fang has regular faction meeting to hand out orders and recruit new members. if I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning... *looks down* and maybe see if they have....

Ruby: Devan?

Blake: ...yes.

Yang: I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale, maybe I can find some info on Devan or the Fang Hunter.  

Ruby: ..... Great, *in a scared tone* we'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we've found.

Blake: he's fine, don't weary.

Weiss: me and Devan aren't friends but I know he would do anything to help anyone of us. so we will do are best to find him.

Sun: hey are you girls talking about Devan? 

we all turn are heads and see sun hanging upside down by his tail off a tree. 

Blake: sun how did you get up here?

Sun: I clime trees all the time! it's like second nature to me. so what's up? 

Ruby: sorry sun we don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to.

Sun: pfft you should always get your friends involved that's why I brought Neptune.

we look outside and see Neptune looking down trying not to fall off the edge. Sun looks at us then back to Neptune. we move to the side and let them in are dorm. 

Ruby: *claps hands* okay. Sun you go with Blake and Neptune you will go with Yang.

Weiss: why don't you go with Yang Ruby?

Ruby: who would go with you?

Weiss: *blushes* well I could go with Neptune.

Ruby: *laughs* na come on.

I drag Weiss out of the room with her flailing her arms.

Weiss: but, but!

Whale wear walking I hear Yang call my name. I turn my head and I see her waving her hand. We walk back to are dorm and walk in side to see everyone looking at a hidden panel. Blake walks over to it and looks in side it.

Blake: guys come over hear.

We all walk to Blake and see what she puts on his desk. We see a watch, a knife with wires going around the handle connecting to the blade. Some sort of disk and... his AMP with a black tint to it.

Sun: what is all this?

Yang: I don't know. *pokes disk* what is this thi-

Before she could finish her sentence a small hologram of Devan pops up.

Devan: hello Team RWBY... I made this disk that's connected to my watch and a little chip on my neck that will monitors my how you say, good and bad Karma... this maybe hard to say for me but for the past seventeen years. *sigh* my body with out me knowing has been fighting off someone called Infamous...  but he's winning, and I don't know how much longer I can fight him off. Yang, do you remember are little chat? Well this is it. I want you to well... off me, I don't want Ruby or Blake to do it. Haheh Weiss... she would like it to much, but I need to tell Ruby something before the storage on this runs out. Can everyone leave the room but Ruby please? I'll give you twenty seconds to decide. 

Weiss: what does he mean by "off me"? 

Yang: he told me about Infamous and how the knife would kill Infamous... and him self. 

Ruby: what!? 

Yang: *picks up the knife* he didn't want me to tell any of you... *sigh* come on guys. lets give Ruby the room. 

Weiss: bu-

Yang looks at Weiss. she looks at me and then leaves with everyone leaving me alone to wait for Devan to speak again. 

Devan: Ruby... I... yo- *sigh. inhales and exhales* do you remember when we first met at from Dust till Dawn? when I first saw your beautiful silver eyes I got lost in them... it felt like I found my sole mate, I just didn't know how to tell you how I feel. now I don't know if I can ever get that chance... but. *looks up at Ruby* Ruby Rose. I lo- *hologram cuts out* 

I hold Devans AMP in my hands as tears stream down my cheeks. My grip on it tightens around the handle  as i hold it closer to my chest. Yang walks in the room and walks over to me. I turn my head and she sees the tears going down my face, no words come out her mouth. All she does is pull me in to a hug with a single tear going down her cheek.
