“Sorry Tori.” Seth and Carlo whispered in unison as the rest of the boys on the trip laughed at me for being in Rynn’s room last night.

Roberta sighed then patted my back. “She doesn’t like him ok? They’re friends!”

“Hey, whatever. All I know is, Rynn has a way with the girls.” A fat guy smirked and bit into his morning sandwich.

“Ha…can you blame us? He’s gorgeous.” Roberta smiled and put a bit of fruit past her glossed lips. I sighed as some of the girls glared at me.

I was so sure it was a secret, but I should have known better. I should have known that the entire class would know by morning. I wonder if Rynn knew.

“Incoming!” Carlo yelled out and I saw Rynn stretching in the doorway to the cafeteria. I swallowed hard and started to shake my legs a bit to get the nerve off.

“Yo! Over here!” Seth stood slightly making Rynn roll his eyes and walk over.

Truth be told, I didn’t want to see him. I don’t think I’d be able to handle it. I feel embarrassed.

“Dude, did you sleep last night? Or did you have some fun?” One of the guys smirked. Rynn just raised an eye brow and sighed.

                Well…

“This is awkward.” One guy sighed. “Dude. So you like each other. Big deal. Can we just eat and go to the festival?” He looked at Rynn.

“What are you talking about?!” Rynn’s eyes shot open and then made contact with mine. “I don’t like anyone.”

“Ha.” I let out without realizing it.

Rynn’s eyes were wide and his pupils dilated. I felt my world go small and my existence even smaller.

Did I really just say that?!

                What’s wrong with me?!

A girl rolled her eyes. “We know that Tori went into your room after the game last night.” She finished chewing her fish and then smirked. “You two might as well give it up. You’ve been around each other non-stop since you enrolled.”

Roberta glanced to me, but I could only see Rynn’s beautiful eyes piercing my soul.

My cat let out a cautious sigh, trying to contain himself, but still the words were dipped in foul frustration. “I’m sick of this Victoria. This is final! I don’t like this girl! Now leave me alone!” Rynn stood and silently stormed off.

“Where are you going?!” Roberta stood up.

“To town! I don’t care!” Rynn yelled back and then broke into a run as if he were made for it. As if another dog was chasing him.

Well I’ve really screwed this up now. I don’t care that everyone at the table is looking at me like I’m heartbroken, I have to fix this.

                Why?

Because I just do. I hate the thought of Rynn always being upset with me. At this point I don’t care who started it, I just need to make it so we can survive with each other until Bellhena comes back.
