How dare he. How, dare, he.

How dare Rynn assume that of me. He could have said, that guy is lying, he could've shrugged off the issue, or waited to see, but no...

He assumed I was going to a hotel.

I thought he knew me better than that.

"Honey? Could you give Rynn his milk? I'm busy." My mom winks at me and I turn to look at him playing with a rubber ball we got for him a few days ago, his palm pushing it back and forth as he casually stares at it.

He didn't even apologize to me for thinking something so disgusting.

"Sure mom." I smile and get up to pour the jerk his milk.

After he said that stupid line to me, asked me that horrendous question, I just scoffed in his face making him wince and bite down on his lip with his feline tooth and I stomped on his foot before walking away to murder the popcorn.

Between the 4 of us I didn't let them have that much. Now that I think about it, what in the world is Lukas thinking? I admit, that was a very clever move, but I was so sure that Rynn would do something else, like punch him instead of get angry at me.

I pour the creamy drink into a plastic bowl with a striped pattern decorating the rim of the dish, fill it as high as I can, and slam it down, wishing I'd poured it over him instead, but watch as the milk bounces up to Rynn's beautiful face as he hits the cupboards behind him.

"What was that for?!" He hisses, and I'm sure to my mom it sounds literal, but I just stick out my tongue and see my mom giggle.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you, I have to go out tonight. I'm meeting a few friends, maybe one of them will know something about little Rynn Rynn over here." My mom bends down and as soon as she touches his skin, I see it turn to fur as she kisses his head.

I don't think I'll ever get used to this magic stuff. It's really neat, but I'm still sorta spooked about it.

"Wait what?" I shake my head as she scurries to the door, only coming back to kiss my cheek. "Wait, wait, wait." I smile and look at her throwing a scarf around her neck. "Since when do you have friends?"

"Since forever. Shut up." She smiles and heads for the door. "If one of them knows about Rynn then make sure you don't take him everywhere with you anymore." My mom glances at me and I giggle to myself, frowning when I see Rynn role his eyes.

"I wouldn't hold out hope on that mom. I'm pretty sure whoever dumped this ally cat mixed breed on our doorstep is long gone...on vacation." I see Rynn scoff and cross his arms.

"Sometimes I don't know WHAT you're talking about. I'll see you later." My mom shuts the door and I immediately walk past Rynn but his hand grabs my wrist before I can make it to the stairs.

"What?!" I turn to glare at him but he pulls me closer to him, a smirk on his face leaving me at his feline sexiness mercy.

"Mixed breed huh? Just who do you think you're talking about? I was bred from the finest."

"The fact that you can even say that is scary." I quickly find my tongue and make it work, but I don't care to pull away from him, even if he annoyed me.
