               Stupid....Stupid, stupid, STUPID.

I silently rushed to the first room and saw Roberta in the front row with Rynn while all the rest of the seats were taken.

I didn't need to sit next to them anyway.

Rynn's resting his thin chin on his bony hand acting like I don't even exist. Roberta's just filing her nails and smiling at me. I know that Rynn wouldn't go out with her, I mean, he talked down on her, he doesn't even like her. He doesn't like me either but,

"Tori?" My teacher's voice came after a tap on my shoulder.

In the middle of my idiotic state I'd forgotten that I was still standing on the dark hard carpet floor near the door. Pretty much everyone is staring at me right now with their dead tired eyes or raised eyebrows.

Well heck, this is embarrassing. I don't even know why.

"Get to your seat. We have a lot to do today."

Isn't that just what every student loves to hear? It always sucks more though when the teacher says it with a straight face and sigh.

I can't say I'm into doing school after coming back from a weekend trip. It's horrible. It's an awful trick...a lousy follow up of them treating us, and then shoving us back into school like sardines in a can.

I dragged myself to the back of the class, avoiding Roberta and Rynn who were already opening their thick hardback books and went back to a desk next to another random girl I never bothered to talk to.

"Ok you young ones...It's time to buckle down again so forget about the festival. All your souvenirs just put them in the back of the room if you haven't put them in your locker or bags already." Our fat hog of a teacher, sorry I'm in a bad mood, sat down on her small gray wheeled chair that miraculously held her up as she tapped the end of her blue pen on her leg and moved side to side a little bit.

A knock came at the door and before she could yell to come in, the door popped open and, assuming I'm not seeing things, the guy from yesterday was smiling and poking his head through the crack.

Before I could process what I'm seeing, his eyes quickly found mine as the rest of the class was looking him over. Sure, some are just ignoring him, one quick glance and their back to focusing on...well whatever, Rynn got a ton of attention his first day...No surprise, he's gorgeous and odd looking at the same time. This guy is rather plain, but that doesn't mean he isn't extremely attractive.

"You him?" Our teacher's accusatory straight laced voice called to the tall, slightly buff, teen in our doorway now fully exposed.

I looked over to Rynn and saw he was just staring out the window.

I can't keep thinking about him. I don't even know why I bother with him. He's an idiot. A snippity, compulsive jerk.

I turned to see the guy from yesterday getting some papers from the teach while she started to right his name down on the board. Why she was doing that I have no idea.

"Ok, this is Lukas Cathedral. He'll be here for the rest of the year."

"It's...Carethial. Lukas Carethial. I'm 17 by the way. Oh and single. Hi." He waved to me and a girl from earlier this morning gasped.
