Hiyaaa people.
Kaylee on the side.

Qotd: It's hard to answer the question "What's wrong?" When nothing is right.

She was perfect in her own imperfect way with all her imperfect perfections.

Someone has a crush.

She might have noticed me staring into her soul as she stopped laughing and her smile slowly faded away.

"Is everything alright?" She asked with genuine concern.

There's that question again. The question I've been dreading to answer since nothing is alright. Deliberately I nod my head to respond.

"I should be the one asking that question since someone just freaked me out just by wheezing like a hyena."

Gotta admit Tobias, you sure have learned something from me.

Oh, shut up. You are me!

I ended my conversation with Spider man as Dahlia was throwing questioning glances towards me.

"I do not laugh like a hyena." She stated.

"Sure, you don't." I scoffed.

"So, how's the community service going so far?" She changed the topic.

"Nice, I like how you just changed the topic and yes so far so good. I've already grown attached to Furball A.K.A Luke here." I point towards Luke who was already squirming under my grasp.

"I didn't change the topic, you just annoy me to an extent where I want to pull my hair but then again, I have awesome hair and if I pull them, I'll never be able to dye them again and damn Luke is so cute. He truly is a furball." She rambled.

Hmm. I like where this is going.

"You totally did change the topic, no arguments there. And I know right he is so damn cute. I was completely blinded by his cuteness the moment I saw him." I continued our weird conversation. I swear if someone passes by, they'll think we've escaped from a mental hospital.

"Fine. I'll let it drop for just this time because you're so stubborn. And don't show your favoritism you biased mad dog." Dahlia sighed frustrated.

"Biased mad dog, so that's what my new nickname is?" I raised a quizzical eyebrow.

"I have no idea where that came from but that's what you are." She grinned satisfied with her response.

I figured that there was no use of arguing with her or continuing this conversation so I carried on doing my work until someone cleared their throat.

Thinking it was Dahlia ready to annoy me further I turned "What is wrong with you woman? Can't you s-" My words were stuck in my throat.

There stood Rafe in his usual attire; skinny jeans, a T-shirt and a black leather jacket. His eyes didn't make contact with mine. He just silently stood there looking on the ground.

"Is there something I can do to help you?" I questioned.

"I-I j-just" He takes a deep breath as if preparing himself.

"I just wanna apologize for my behavior earlier. I am sorry, what I did was wrong, I shouldn't have done that." He truly felt guilty.

"It's alright. Your apology has been accepted." I flashed him a small smile.

It still feels wrong to smile. I haven't got used to smiling yet.

He returned the smile and left to do his share of chores.
