Look who is back.....
Here is a picture of Rafe.
Qotd: Not only did I shut out the pain, I shut out everything.....

Something about that picture made me stare at it for about ten minutes till realization hit me and I was brought back to my senses.

The picture was captured in the sophomore year of high school. It was a group photo from the time when we all baked cakes for our home economics assignment.

I was partners with Alexis, while Kaylee was peered with Chase. We were all very happy and were sitting according to our grades. Since Alexis and I were second we were sitting next to the school's queen bee, Vienna and her partner being the very charming geek, Rafe.

Hold up right there, buddy. He looks awfully familiar.

Indeed, he does look very familiar. Wait....

Isn't he the guy from the pet store earlier?

No wonder why he looked so familiar and gave me knowing smirks. The bad ass kid is Rafe Grayson, the school geek.

Damn! He really has changed a lot.

I make a mental note to myself to confront him on Thursday.

***

Since it was a Wednesday, I decided to go back to my house and clean it up a bit. Although I need major help from Franny, I agreed not to disturb her as she was usually busy on Wednesdays.

Dressed in my normal attire; jeans and an unbuttoned maroon plaid shirt with a grey shirt inside. I plugged my earphones and walked towards my house which was just two blocks away from the Inn.

The first song that played was Thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran.

Man! I love this song.

I gently bobbed my head to the music and hummed along with it. I was so immersed in the song that I didn't notice that I had already reached my destination.

Walking through the doors I composed myself and prepared for a breakdown. I knew that I'll breakdown, sooner or later. The familiar scent of dust rushed through my nostril as I moved further inside.

I walked up into my room and started cleaning it up.

***

After two hours of me dancing in my room while cleaning up, I was starving. As I made my way to the landing, I heard some shuffling and then some footsteps.

I quickly grabbed the first thing that came into my hand to defend myself from whoever was there, which happens to be my baseball bat.

The footsteps were getting louder by the second and the stairs creaked as the person came up. I hid behind a pillar ready to attack.

The person walked further, I yelled and jumped on him startling him too. Heh yelled louder than me making me yell again. Now we were both having a yelling competition.

"Who the hell are you?" I growled still on top of him. Which caused him to scream a very girly scream.

"Cut it with the screaming dude!" Frustration took over.

"Be-be-behind y-you." He croaked. I slowly turned around only to be welcomed by a very big, might I add very big cockroach. Did I tell you how big it was? Well it was huge!

Quit it Tobias.

Just when I thought I had gained enough masculinity to get rid of it, it did this thing which totally freaked me and the guy behind me out.

It fucking started to fly.

We both let out an inhumane scream and ran for our lives. Screaming on top of our lungs we both ran outside panting.

I turned to the stranger and raised an quizzical eyebrow. He got the hint and when he caught his breath, he replied.

"I just saw the door wide open and someone shouting. I got worried and came to check if everything was alright." His voice was deep.

I took my time examining him. Something about those eyes seemed very familiar.

"IT'S DEAD NOW!" Someone yelled from inside the house and I the silhouette of a guy holding the cockroach in his hand.

The stranger screamed again. "Throw it in a trash can. Hurry before I die from screaming."

The guy inside walked out, the streetlight casted a shadow on his face. I recognized him almost instantly. Rafe made his way to the trash can and threw the cockroach. He was in his bad boy attire, white T-shirt, ripped jeans and a black leather jacket.

He took out a tissue from his pocket and wiped his hands then nervously looked at me then at the person besides me.

"What were you doing here?" I croaked; my throat still dry from all the screaming.

"In case you have forgotten, we moved across the street a week before you went to juvie." Rafe spitted.

"Thank You for saving my life from that evil flying devil of a thing." The guy besides me said dramatically.

I took the time to scan the guy. He was tall, broad and had blonde hair which were long but not that long. His eyes gave the Asian aura, his skin was just flawless.

Stop it dude. You look like a creep right now.

I stopped scanning the Asian stranger and diverted my attention towards Rafe. He walked towards me and deliberately nudged his shoulder with mine, not even sparing me a glance he walked back to his house right in front of mine and slammed the door.

"He really looks in a bad mood." The stranger whispered. The real question was that why was he in such a foul mood and why did he nudge me like I did something wrong. Well maybe because I did something bad two years ago. I let the matter drop as I had something else to take care of.

"Ok Asian guy, care to explain who the hell are you and what the hell were you doing in my house?" I turned towards him trying to look intimidating.

"Your house?" He asked. I just nodded my head in response his eyes widened briefly and he took hold of my arm, pulled my sleeve up revealing the flame shaped birthmark near my elbow.

He gasped in surprise and looked into my eyes as if staring right into my soul. He uttered a few words which left me completely bewildered.
