Tomoe's POV
As soon as I heard the door open, I hid my tail and ears. Reflex I guess. Then I heard Mike's wretched voice.
"NANAMI, WHAT THE HELL?!?!?!?! I KNEW THE RUMORS AT SCHOOL WERE TRUE! YOU ARE CHEATING ON ME WITH THAT POPULAR KID!"
Without turning around, I could tell he's upset. Anyone could tell! The hearing impared could tell by his voice!(A/N if you have impared hearing, I just want you to know that I did NOT mean anything offensive by this, I'm sorry if ypu took offense in this :) carry on)
I felt Nanami pull away quickly, she was blushing, she's so cute when she blushes. I smirked before she quickly 'explained'.
Nanami's POV
I heard Mike yelling. I quickly pulled away, blushing. I saw him smirk,.but I was relieved to knoe he hid his ears and tail. Not that I didn't LOVE them! I'm pretty sure everyone does. (A/N,I know I do!)
I did my best to find a good explanation, but I suck at explainations, so all I came up with was, "Tomoe and I fell into eachother, and you walked in at a moment that it looked awkward"
Of course he didn't believe me, who would? I wouldn't even believe it!
"That's it, we're over!" He screamed. He walked over to Tomoe, " And YOU why would you do that! I thought you didn't even like her!"
That last sentence brought tears to my eyes. Tomoe noticed and walked over to me, patting my head.(A/N Smooth right (note the sarcasm) lol)
He stared at Mike, "Well first off, I don't really care too much about how you feel about my actions, you see, I don't really like you that much" he started, this is gonna be intresting," And second off, nobody said I didn't like Nanami, that was just what you assumed," that made me so happy! Tomoe likes me! He continued, "and finally, I do not apriciate you making Nanami cry, whatever the reason she's crying is. I do not enjoy seeing her in this state. Now, please exit the shrine immediatley. Mizuki will show you out."
He gave Mike a deathglare and Mike didn't hesitate to leave.
Tomoe's POV
I looked down at Nanami, "Now, why are you crying?" I asked. She looked away, clearly embarassed.
"I-l just didn't like what he said about you not liking me" I smiled slightly. She cared that much?
I stared into her eyes, "Don't you dare let that get you down. He doesn't know how I feel!"
She looked confused before asking, "How do you feel?"
I stared down at her tear-stained face. I'm going to tell her. I AM going to tell her.
"Nanami, I love you"
