Chapter 5

Nanami's POV

I can't believe he just said that! He still thinks yokai/human relationships don't work! I did my best to hold back tears until I walked into the main room of the shrine, then I burst into sobs. Numaro just watched.

After a little while, I stopped and Numaro asked why, "Tomoe confessed" I replied. Her eyes lit up, "Congradulations! But why are you CRYING?" She asked, impatiently. "He said he told us that you and Kotarou wouldn't work, well, his actual words were humans and yokai wouldn't work, so we can't"

Numaro looked both worried and upset. "Well, lets prove him wrong, by helping me make up with Kotarou!" I nodded and left. Not really caring if Tomoe knew where I was.

Tomoe's POV

Nanami left a while ago. So where is she?! I'm begining to worry. Why did I let her go off without me? I don't care if she wants to see me, I wanna see her!

I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock at the door, I answered it to see a man in a t-shirt and some ripped up jeans with ratty sneakers. He had Nanami's hair color and was about 2 inches shorter than me.

"Welcome to the Mikage Shrine, what may your buisness here be?" I asked calmly. The man had a sad look in his eyes, he stared at me and said, "I'm Kaname (name just came to me) Momozono. I've heard from the townspeople that my daughter was here, her name is Nanami"
