Episode 8 - Get Together

"I'm so bewildered, why are you hiding your identity? I mean I'm unable to understand that what happened in past 2 years that you suddenly start wearing this creepy mask to hide your face and you don't want anyone to know real you, to know real Mavis?" Elizabeth asked all these questions to Mavis in a flow with some confused expressions on her face while attending their Mathematics class.

"Shhhh!! Just focus on the whiteboard. Don't think too much". Mavis replied in a cool tone.

" Okay!" Elizabeth was little pissed off.

On the other hand, Kevin and Bruse were also confused. Deep down inside, Kevin was thinking that he has some kind of connection with that girl with a mask and he was so curious to know everything and to clear everything, there's something in her eyes that made Kevin complusive and Kevin couldn't able to stop thinking about her. Bruse kept telling Kevin that her name is Eletha but little bit Bruse was confused too.

"Mom was asking about you. She wants to meet you". Bruse told the Kevin to break the silence between them.

" Hmm? What're you saying?" But Kevin was thinking, something else.

"I'm saying that tonight, can you be with us? I mean mom wants you to have a dinner with you tonight". Bruce repeated himself.

" Yeah sure! Why not? I'll surely come tonight and I really want to meet Mrs. Lautner too. It's been a really long time since we met". Kevin said with a smile on his face.

"Great! I've to inform Mom right now". Bruce said with glistening eyes. He felt so happy to know that Kevin is willing to come to his house.

" Triinnngggg.."

The period bell rang and all the students started moving towards the exist.

"So, you're coming to the dinner tonight, right?" Elizabeth asked Mavis while packing her bag.

"Eliza! You know that I've to go to the restaurant in the evening so it'll be difficult for me to manage the time. I know, it'll hurt you but I can't come." Mavis replied being gloomy.

"No, I don't want to hear anything. I can't say no to the mom. She already planned a dinner with her friend and I told her that you're coming. Now I can't embarrass myself in front of her. So you'll have to come. Please!" Elizabeth tried to convince Mavis.

"But Elizabeth..."

"No Mavis, you've to come, please."

"Okay! I'll come but I can't stay for too long". Mavis said.

" Perfect! Yeah I know that you can't, it's fine I'll manage everything". Elizabeth said with a cheerful voice.
