Prim Everdeens P.O.V (The Hunger Games)

Just a little story on Prim Everdeens point of view. 

I look into the morning sky. The wind howeling in my ears. The time is near....Its nearing the time when I must return to the house. I look out to the woods beyond the wired fencing. I sit in the Meadow, messing with daisys. I look to the forest to see if Katniss's there yet. But shes not. I keep looking for the  herbs mother sent me for, then I remember that I also need to milk my Goat (Lady) today. I produce Milk and Cheese from her. Shes really good at that. 

"PRIM!" I hear someone shreeking from far behind the wooden fencing of the Meadow. I bolt straight up and see some men rushing a smaller man into our house. Its Mother screaming, she needs me urgently. I rush to the fencing and slide between the bottom and top wood strip. I look down slightly as I begin to run, I carry on running until I reach the house. Then I glide in and stand by Mother. "What happened?" I ask, glancing over at the 4 men who are standing around the bed with the little man on. 

"Prim pass me that medicine please" Mother says, pointing as she wraps up the mans arm. I walk over to the Medicine stand and take it down from the shelf. I pass it to mother quickly and hold the mans arm in place. She puts the medicine into a needle and puts the end of the needle into the mans Elbow. I reach over to grab a bandage and wrap it round and round the mans arm. "his done.." Mother annouces then she wheels the bed into the old spare room. She instructs me to clean the only spare bed out of the three left. I quickly put a new black sheet over the hard sponge on the bed frame and then take a floppy pillow and prop it under the new patients head.

I head back out after the whole thing is done and walk over to the Meadow Fence. I climb to the top ledge out of the two and then swing my legs over. I end up sitting there. Staring into the Meadow, looking at all the daisys, roses and daffodils. I look up and see the world is growing around me. 

"Katniss?" I shout as someone appears from the Meadows long grass. I see someone walking, a boy with her. She looks up to me to conferm it is her. Its Katniss and her best friend Gale, Gale Hawthorne.
