"Night Katniss" I whisper into the darkness of the room around me. "Night Prim" She says then i hear her shuffle under her quilts. I turn over in the bed and look out the window. The moons light shines in on my face and I sigh loudly. Mother is over in her bed, while me and Katniss share. I hear mother whispering to herself, and I decide to get up and comfort her. I tip-toe over to her bed and pull up the covers. I slide into the bed and wrap myself around Mother. She nods at me and thanks me silently and she hugs me. She hugs me till I fall asleep and her grip loosens...but shes still there.

"Bye Prim" Katniss whispers to me in the morning. I sit up a little and then mouth bye. I see her go into the kitchen and i hear the door go. Shes gone out to hunt for our food in the woods. I then sit up and look to mother. Her eyes flicker open and She then she pushes herself up onto her hands. She then gets up off the bed and walks into the kitchen. Katniss has left a little note saying she'll be back a little later. I smile at mother and open up the cheese we made yesterday. She shakes her head at it and opens up the bread thats oldish now and she cuts off a slice and puts some fish from yesterday on it. she eats that one and then makes me one. Its not great, but its food. I hope Katniss comes back from the hob with bread today.

"I'll go and sit in the Meadow" I say to mother as She begins to check up on the small man from yesterday. She confirms his okay to go home, his arm is broken and will need to come back in a few weeks time. I open the front door and shut it behind me as I take a step outside. I hurry along up to the Meadow and slide though the two strips. I carry on walking once I get though and I trott into the long yellowing grass. The grasshoppers are huming and I see butterflys flying from daisy to rose to daffodils. I hum along to the grasshoppers tune and then I lie down in the grass. I shut my eyes slowly and let the world close in around me.

I wake to Katniss's voice. "Prim? Prim? PRIM?" shes whispering to me, shes holding my shoulders in her shaking hands. "Whats wrong Katniss?" I ask softly. "I needed to know you were alive! Come on...the Daisys are facing you look, Prim" She says quietly and comfortingly. I get up with her and examine the Daisys. Shes right they are. I walk to the fence with her and she goes on off to the hob. I wait for a while at the fence, leaning up it. "Primrose?" Asks a voice from behind me. I turn sharply to look and its Tony. "What are you doing in the Meadow?" He asks me. I shrug my shoulders. Then he sighs and stands by me. He leans his arms on the fencing like i do and we stare ahead.

"Thanks Primrose" He says, climbing over the Meadow fence and waves to me as he walks on down to the hob. I smiles secretly and walk up the meadows path, heading for Tonys wifes grave. I keep walking till i find the earth is a little wet. Then there it is. the grave. the stone. the moist mud. I begin to cry at the fact my mother didn't call me into the house to try and help her and know I lied to Tony that I was in the house and mother told me no. This is complete betrayl to Tony. My eyes clear up quickly and I see Katniss coming from the hob, carrying two small loafs. I jump over the fence and land a little funny but, i keep running. I rush up to her and walk with her to the house. We find Mother crying into a cloth.
