Who is this boy?" Satan boomed over the court of black robed men.

"Anders Ackins, my lord." One of them spoke lightly.

"And you believe he contains powers, such as us?" Lucy's father spoke sternly.

"Only one." The same hooded man said.

Satan glanced around the court before speaking, "And what is that?"

The robed man looked serious and directly at his lord before speaking, "Immortality."

Whispers escaped the room and left everyone in confusion, Lucy came to the realization of what her future holds before chiming in, "Wait--- am I immortal too?"

The room of whispers silenced as Satan looked as his newly found daughter, "Of course, my child."

The pressure and thoughts of living forever filled her mind, the next thing she saw was the floor, vanishing into an utter darkness.

"Rise and shine Sleeping Beauty." A familiar voice says, hovering Lucy.

"Go away Devin!" She says turning over the pillow on the small bed that she must have been put on after she fainted.

"No can do princess." Devin says smiling before pulling the covers off of Lucy.

Lucy, giving up, finally sits up and says "Fine I am up. What happened after I fainted?"

"They came to a conclusion." He obviously didn't want to give details.

"Ok. On what?" Lucy asked, looking at him in a suspicious manner.

"You are needed to find out what that Anders boy is, and whether or not he should be destroyed." Devin said, staring blankly at the floor.

"Why do they need me to do that?" She questioned sharply.

"You are the only one that can transport." He said with a great certainty in his voice.

"Maybe I don't want to help them---" she paused, "all I want to do is go home."

"Too bad. If you don't help them, Satan will kill you, then you will never see your family again." He says, touching on a clearly sensitive subject.

Ignoring Devin's reverse psychology, she responds with, "He can't kill me. I am immortal."

"True, but he is the ruler, meaning he has that power to give mercy or death." Devin states, revealing the new information to Lucy.

"Fine. But I don't know how to use my demon powers, at least not yet." She says, discouraging herself.

"That is what I am here for. Ready to train?" He asks eagerly. Before she can answer Devin picks her up and carries her out of the room, bridal style.
