"Ugh!" Lucy exclaimed being thrown against the wall once more.
"Give up?" Devin asked with a smirk.
"Hell no." She said smiling wickedly back at him.
"I mean I wouldn't blame you." He said cleaning the sweat off of his face with only his hand.
"And why is that?" Lucy asked raising an eyebrow.
"Because--" Devin paused, taking a step closer "I am a man and that already makes me ten times stronger than you."
One thing that Lucy always stood up for, under any circumstance was feminism, and she would not let Devin get away with using that against her. "Oh really?" She said grabbing his shirt and pulling him closer to her. Before he knew it Lucy kicked him in a very private area and was pushed to the ground, Lucy on top of him.
"What the hell was that for?" He exclaimed, still gasping for breath.
"To teach you respect." She said getting up, "Need a hand pretty boy?"
Getting up he spoke, "Ok next rule, never trust your enemy." He looked at a semi-confused Lucy, "By offering me your hand I could use that against you. So never trust the opponent you are facing."
"Shall we continue?" Lucy asked, innocently.
"Yes, now let's focus on strengthening your hands to get a good, clean punch." He said, almost as an instructor would to a student.
Jokingly she spoke, "Yes master, I will become a strong grasshopper."
"Seriously Lucy, you need to train." Devin said, not amused by her joke.
"Oh fine--" She paused, "What did you have in mind?"
"Hit me." He said reaching for some nearby gloves.
"What?" Lucy looked confused.
"Hit me, right here, in the hands." Devin spoke lifting up his gloved hands.
"Ok." Was all she said.
Taking a step back she pushed her fists forward, hitting the X in the middle of the glove. "Is that all you got? Hit me again, harder." He commanded. Repeating the process again and again Lucy started to become angry. How am I not hurting him? This thought only making her more mad. Lucy gave it her all and hit his hands, one final time. Finally Devin stumbled back and fell, hard.
"Get up." Lucy said in a deep voice. When he did not do as she asked Lucy took matters into her own hands and grabbed his shirt, pulling him to his feet.
"Shit Lucy, you are getting stronger----- What's up with your eyes?" Devin asked, leaning closer.
"What are you talking about stupid, their brown." She said stating what she thought was the obvious.
"No they are red." Devin said leaning back.
Something seemed to break in Lucy, her humanity, "Stop lying!" Her voice dropped deeper and deeper. Devin was shoved to the wall, as Lucy choked him, he began screaming. When Lucy released his throat he continued screaming as she looked at him, having the desire to burn his unwanted soul.
"Stop looking at me!" He screamed through shots of pain that were rushing in his body. Her eyes changed back to the dark coffee brown that they were before. Running out of the room Devin shouted, "Stay away from me!" and with no haste was gone out of the room, leaving Lucy to consider the possibility of what she had just became, a true demon.
