BTW I couldn't put a picture of the outfit

The next day, I woke up, did my daily morning routine, and got my outfit out. Today, I wore a short white lace dress and black block heels. I wore my killer whale earrings with the outfit. I had breakfast, and got in the car. I said bye to my brother, who I forgot to mention earlier. His name is Ragnar Kolfinnson. We just have last names that tell us which gender child we are of Kolfinn.

"So, mom, how was last night?" I asked sarcastically.

She sighed. "I knew you weren't going to let that go. Look I know you miss your dad, but Orfeo helps me get over the missing."

"Oh, so your just going to pretend that dad never existed? You're just going to move on and pretend nothing happened? I can walk the rest of the way to school!" I yelled.

"No, Astrid, come back," she pleaded. By the time she finished, I was already at school. I met Mahdi at my lockers and he took one look at me and hugged me. He didn't have to ask and already knew what I was crying about. I cried about this once already.

"I wish my mom hadn't met Orfeo," I sniffed.

"I know," he replied. I had recovered by the time Sera and Des came over. With them were four other girls and one guy.

"Meet Ava, Becca, Ling, and Neela. The guy is Yazeed, and he has a crush on Ling," Des announced.

"I do not!" cried Yazeed, blushing.

Ling was the Chinese girl. She had black hair and pale skin. Becca had frizzy red hair with freckles and wore glasses. Neela was slightly plump with brown hair and large hoops. Ava was blind, I think, and she had a guide dog, which I learned was called Baby. Yazeed had black hair and brown eyes.

"Nice to meet y'all," I said.

"Nice to meet you too," each of them said. There was an awkward pause. Briiiiiiiiiing! Briiiiiiiiiing! Saved by the bell! I thought. "Well, better get to home room. See you later!" I said. And rushed off.
