"Uhhhh, I took karate like 5 years ago and I don't remember shit," I whisper to Zeke as I took my jacket off and handed it to him. He patted my shoulder and said, "Don't worry. It'll come to you as you move. Your body was made to fight." He said before lightly kissing my cheek.
I walked forward till I was walking large circle with an unknown language written on it. "My name is Breeze, I am the guardian of the Air element. I will be your first opponent." Breeze's voice was soft as she spoke to me while taking off her beautiful robes.
"Well, Breeze nice to meet you and uh...don't break anything in my body, please?" I asked, nervously rolling my shoulders back. "Move like the wind." She said before charging at me. My body seemed to move on its own as I avoided the quick punches. I raised my hands to counter an attack which surprisingly worked. While she was distracted I landed a few more good hits before she became a blur. "You have proven your strength and abilities to move quickly. Move forward for your next battle." Breeze directed.
"I am Seraphim! Guardian of fire! Your next opponent." I raised my eyebrows and smirked. "You all gonna introduce yourself the same way aren't you?" I mumbled before relaxing my shoulders again. "Random like fire," Seraphim says before disappearing in a blur. "Can all of you do that?!" I yelled before turning around and forcing my fist to collide with his. I could feel my body temperature rising as I burned the skin on his knuckles. He disappeared again this time, far away. "You have proved your control of fire. Move ahead!" Seraphim yells pointing ahead of me.
"Gah! I'm tired." I bent over, finally reaching the third person. "I am Wynter, child, the guardian of water and your final opponent," Wynter said, her voice harsh in my ears. "Choose your weapon." She grabbed two daggers from a rack of weapons beside us. A spear pulled my attention as I grabbed it with care. "Let's go," I said, feeling all my energy return.
"Move with the water." She smiled before charging at me with her daggers. I stabbed the spear into the ground and climbed up it. Wynter looked up at me, confused. I listened to the stream nearby and started to move on my own. I jumped off the top of the spear and pulled it out of the ground. I fell to the ground feeling the energy move up from my feet into my waist. Wynter ran at me again releasing a loud battle cry. Waiting till I heard the sound of the stream hitting the rocks, I stood still. Wynter was still charging at me just she was moving like she was in slow motion. The sound water hitting the rocks forcefully pulled me out of my thoughts and made me thrust the spear forward, just barely grazing her side.
"You truly are the next master Elementalist..." She breathed before disappearing into a blur. "Seriously, can you all do that?!" Zeke's laugh calmed my thoughts as I threw the spear down. His hazel eyes stared into my rainbow ones. "You look sexier when you're all tired and sweaty." He commented, making me roll my eyes and pick up the spear to place it where it was.
"Evangelia, Here. This is your necklace. You've earned it to symbol your training." The tall man took off the necklace and handed it to me. "Thank you...?" I waited patiently for a name. "Terra, guardian of the earth." I took the necklace. "Zeke," Terra says, standing at full height. "Master Terra." Zeke gave a little bow. I giggled and put on the necklace, charmed by its beauty.
"Show young Evangelia to her chambers, I'm sure she's tired," Terra said before walking away. back towards his temple. "Of course, Sir," Zeke mumbled before grabbing my hand and leading me to a smaller temple. "You'll love it here. Trust me." He said, gently kissing my cheek.
