I watched Youngsoo approach (y/n) once more, walking in the style of a drunkard as he swayed back and forth while the bus moved. I shook my head at him. I never thought the day would come I'd see someone as foolish as him.

I can't help but pity him somehow.

I felt the bus halt, causing my body to jerk forward slightly. At the same time, Youngsoo took advantage and practically forced himself on the seat next to (y/n). From my view, I can see the poor girl scooting closer to the window while mouthing something I couldn't comprehend.

It took me by surprise when Youngsoo hastily seized (y/n)'s wrist.

I hadn't even realized I was on my feet, ready to lunge at the man for invading her space. (y/n) was obviously struggling to break free from his grip. How could no one notice and help her? A sudden surge of anger filled me and my feet started acting on its own.

I may sound like a hypocrite for being concerned over some guy harassing her when I've practically done the same.  Just minus being physical with her.

But now's a good time to return the favor and repay the kindness she deserved.

"Ey, Youngsoo!" My voice echoed throughout the entire bus.

Shoot, I shouldn't have said his name so loud. I instantly regretted doing it as I got looks from other passengers, even the driver seemed curious as to what was going on. There I stood, a few centimeters from where they both sat. I could already feel Youngsoo's eyes boring holes into my soul.

What am I even doing?

Why did I get myself so involved?

I gulped.

"Look punk," Youngsoo started, releasing (y/n)'s wrist. At least she's free now.

"What's your problem? How do you even know my name? Is it wrong to spend time with my girlfriend?" He says through gritted teeth, pointing at me as he got closer. By the time he reached me, he shoved me and I stumbled back a bit.

I only scoffed in response.

"You wonder how I know your name when you and your pals have gigantic mouths?"

I watched in amusement as his eyes twitched.

"Say that again, one more time." His eyes narrowed, hands curling into a fist.

"By the way, she's not your girlfriend," I stated matter-of-factly. I mentally cursed myself as my feet dragged me to the girl who was watching us in horror. I quickly pulled her to her feet, her figure bumping against my chest.

"We happen to be a thing." I finished, wrapping my arm around (y/n).

I witnessed two pairs of eyes widen, Youngsoo's and (y/n)'s.

Probably mine as well.

"What are you gonna do about it now?" Minho asked from the other line.

"I don't know. I wasn't thinking straight. Hopefully, I'll never run into them ever again." I replied, burying my face in a pillow.

I heard Minho sigh.

He could have whacked me on the head if I were talking to him face-to-face right now.

"What is wrong with you?" He whines, feeling ashamed for me.

"I told you, I don't know myself." I sighed, getting tired of this conversation.

"Just get some sleep, Chan. You'll need it." Minho tells me.

"I'll try." Was all I said before hanging up.

April 26.

The day filled with regrettable moments and undesired encounters.

All the scenes kept replaying in my mind despite my futile attempts at getting sleep. I let out a frustrated yell. How am I gonna face my group tomorrow? They probably heard from Minho already.

I switched my light off, burying myself under the sheets. The events happened hours ago, but my heart was still racing until now. I felt so uneasy, I don't understand how unrealistic it went.

Why did I do it?

The blood gushing out of his nose as I shook my hand. Youngsoo clutched his nose, eyes welling with tears but he was able to hold it in. The next thing I know, he swung his fist at me. I was quick to react, as if he was a throwing a punch in slow motion, and managed to dodge it.

What he didn't see coming was my backhand whacking him on the head.

He stumbled back before completely falling, blacking out.

I didn't feel the slightest amusement from seeing him passed out.

In fact, there was more guilt than pleasure.

The next thing I know, the bus driver was dragging me out of the bus by the collar of my hoodie. He quickly called for an ambulance, trying to calm the passengers who had a mix of horror and anxiousness written all over their faces.

"Why'd you do that?" She demanded an answer, standing in front of me with her eyebrows furrowed and her eyes glossy.

"I was saving you." I simply answered.

"I appreciate your help, but all of that was unnecessary."

And she was right.

Not only did I attack a man I'm not affiliated with.

"You kissed her, Chan." Minho's words echoed in my mind.

What was I thinking?

I kissed her.

It was my first.
