We are the 400

           I'm not gonna sit here and die. I think to myself as I roll out of the way of the crimson bolt. It left  a large crater where I had laid moments before.  I jumped to my feet and  lunged at the guard with my ironic gift of inhuman speed my fist catching his jaw with a heavy crack.
                   The guard stumbled backwards so I  blasted him with a bolt of ethereal energy right in the chest.  It  burned the alien really bad, I smelled burning flesh in the air.  The alien screamed in pain.
              I  quicky ran  over to where Lucas and  Hailey stood. “He's in here." Lucas said picking  up an alien grenade. I didn't know who he was but I followed Hailey's example as she backed up.
               Lucas's eyes glowed a golden color as he chucked the grenade at the door. The whole door exploded in a fiery inferno of gold and crimson. “Who could survive that?" I asked them. A lone figure walked out of the inferno the orange flames seeming to bow to him.
                     “Nice way to wake up your friend." he says wiping his eyes. The flames swirled into his palm then onto his skin. He grinnes and said “So are we leaving this place or what!"
        “Sure Phillip." Lucas said. We all walked over to where Phillip stood and introduced ourselves. Phillip had black hair and orange eyes. He the was the same height as me and very pale.
               We made a plan to free the others. The next cell we approached had  a blondehaired girl behind the bars. She was an inch shorter than me with blue eyes and fair skin. "What can you do?"  Phillip said flatly.  "I can control ice and water." She said. She pointed a finger at the wall and frost slowly climbed up it.  "Nice." I said  smiling at her. She grinned back her cheeks turning pink.  "I'm Alyssa." She says as we left her cell.  It took me a couple seconds to realize she's talking to me. "I'm Sol." I said finally my face getting hot. She is really cute , oh well, would probably  not  go for me.  

               We turned a corner in the hallway and saw a group of four guards in front of a cell. Before   we could even move any further the door to the cell smashes open and a 12 feet tall wolf-like creature came out tearing the guard apart. "So are we escaping?" it roared  tearing  an approaching guard head off. "Yep." Phillip said. "Then what the hell are we  waiting for." the wolf creature  roared.  

We all ran down the hall with the wolf creature leading the way as a group of eight alien guards  started firing on us.  I blasted them with  a large  bolt of energy taking out four. The wolf creature literally sprinted up a wall and jumped off into the remaining guards. He slaughtered them   tearing the first guards chest open making me turn away. It was frightening.
