We are the 400

       Finally I thought lighting a fireball in my palm. Yea, doesn't sound a lot like Sol's powers does it? Well its my turn to give my story. Welcome to Philip's world!

                  The elevator stopped and the door opened. I ran out backed by Tom and Ralph. We ran straight out into the horde of aliens waiting for us. I burned the helms off the first two I saw. Ralph shot spikes into four more. I jumped on a table and blasted another warrior in the chest.

               We  had taken cover in what looked like a weird alien cafeteria. It had long  tables with trays , full of foods that look so exotic I'm surprised they aren't in the zoo. I picked up a tray and slammed it into the face of the closest alien. It stumbled back so I kicked a few trays up and lit them on fire .

             Another group of four aliens  surrounded me. I kicked one in the chest and  hit the other two in the face with a nearby  hot food. They both screamed and fell back. The one I kicked in the chest grabbed my neck and threw me unto the table.

                    I grunted as I felt my rib cracked, absorbing the pain I kicked the alien right in the  knee  cap. He doubled over, I jumped on his back and spinn kicked his buddy in the jaw. I landed on the table with a thud and saw Mark and Daniel fighting an octopus  looking lady.

                     Daniel transformed into a bull, tearing up the octolady with his horn. Mark has his claws deep in one of her tentacles. I laugh at it realizing she's the lunch lady.  The humor is short lived though because an alien punches me in the face.

            I  stumbled then right myself and punched, him twice in his nasty lizard face. At least I hoped its a him. Nasty lizard grabbed me by my shirt and threw me unto the floor. I kicked it in the jaw causing brown blood to pour out of its nostril. I grinned then lit it on fire.

                   The  alien literally exploded into flames. wow, impressive. I stood and dodged as another alien swung his fist at me. I jumped on a bench then kneed the alien in the nose. See, I learnt fast. Brown blood poured out as I spun and punched him in the cheek.

                    Two aliens in the room and two  grabbed me from behind, I twisted my arm back and elbowed them both in the md section. Allowing me to release an arm long enough to set their faces on fire. I ran to the exit where everyone was slowly fighting their way towards. Darn, a small alien jumped in my way. It was wearing a full black armor that resembles Sol's. Fascinating. But hold the thought,four more just like it surround me seconds later. I covered my body in flames and put my fists up as they started their onslaught. A  blur of a fist comes at me from my right but I blocked it. A foot from my left but I caught it and threw it into an other oncoming fist.Just then I felt a heavy blow, a stick or some rod hit me in the back and I fell.

                  A barrage of fists and feet hit me from every direction extinguishing my flames. I focused trying to use something called shutter that my alien trainer had taught me. Focus, focus.The attacks started slowing down until there's none. I stood and  was amazed to see the aliens frozen in place.

            No way. One was frozen in mid kick another  frozen in mid punch. I had literally frozen time.  No, wait, I hadn't  they were still moving. One warriors foot was still descending on where I had been.

                 I elbowed him in the face and doubled my fist bringing it down to his head. My mouth opened in amazement as the alien  started to shatter. Like glass, literally chipping away and in frozen bits. I grinned and continued to beat the crap out of them, until exhausted I could no longer keep my mind in that intense shutter focus. 

                      They all fell at once, like glass littering the floor. “Nice job." Sol said patting me on the back.

I followed him and the others outside the compound into the blazing heat. Exhausted physically and mentally.
