Just Juliet.

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The sound rings in my ear. I roll over and hit my alarm clock. It stopped and I rolled over onto my back.

"Ugh!" I groaned. I'm not fond of the mornings. I quite enjoy sleep.

I fling my legs over the side of my bed and push myself up. I slug my body out of my room to the bathroom. I wash and stuff, then change into my uniform.

I make my way back to my room. I fix myself some pancakes and eat them with lots of syrup, like drowned.

I went back to my room. I opened one if my drawers and pull out gray leggings. Then I put them on under my pink shirt. Long socks aren't enough for me. I have insecurities. And I don't like how short our skirts are.

After doing all the things I do in the morning, I grab a few suckers and lay them on the windowsill. I open the window and walk away.

I don't know why but one day I forgot some candy there and the next day only wrappers were left. So now I just leave them there hoping that whatever eats them is happy.

Then I grab my bag and I'm out the door. After I lock it of course. I go to school at True Cross Academy. It's a nice place, classes are a bit of a hassle to get to but are easy. I don't like homework but it has to be done and, as stated, its easy.

I don't know why Mr. Pheles has my room way out here. I know other girls are in dorms as are the guys. I hear there're two guys who have one whole building to themselves.

I literally have no one around me. My building is small and beside the woods. From what I've talked to Mr. Pheles, this building is for girls, seeing as it was planed to be filled because the other dorm was full. Yeah, that never happened. I enrolled late so I get to live alone. I'm fine with this. I'm not exactly social.

---During lunch---

My first couple of classes were boring. The only thing exciting that happened was Rin, one of my classmates, fell asleep and out of his chair.

So I'm sitting by some girls who asked me to sit with them the past couple of days. I had my last class with them and I don't really know them to well. Their names are Gina, Bethany, Ren, and Sayuri.

"Hey, guys see that door?" I ask while eating.

"What door?" Gina asked.

"That one." I said and pointed to it.

"Honey, that's a wall." Sayuri stated.

"Hmm." I hummed.

"Are you sick," Bethany asked, "the heat getting to ya?"

"My eyes must be playing tricks on me. I forgot my glasses in my room, some how." I said.

"Or you're stupid." Ren declared.

I glared at her. I get the impression see doesn't like me.

"Ren! That was mean. She's not stupid. Mai does good in class." Sayuri defended me. Glad someone is on my side.

"Sorry, just a suggestion." Ren shrugged.

"It's fine." I stated and continued eating.

Ren is like the leader of this little group. I don't know why but she hates me. Gina and Bethany don't really mind, or have opinions. We're acquaintances. Sayuri is nice to me and is the one who asked me to sit with them. I would consider us friends.

After a few minutes we went back to class. They went pretty slow and boring too. No fun in these. I had to work with a partner in my last class. I didn't really enjoy it.

Now I'm going back to my room to put my bag down and get my glasses. I have this eery feeling about that door. I want to put my glasses on and check it out.

In my room I throw my bag on the couch and go to my room. I put my glasses on and everything became more clear. They are thick rimed, black glasses. I also pull my hair up out of my face, into a ponytail.

I check the window before I leave and the suckers are gone, only wrappers. I smile knowing that the creature is getting them.

I exit the building and make my way to front square. It's empty and the clouds over head make it dark out.

I examine the door. It's not just the wall and my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. This is a flippin door!

There's a keyhole but I don't have a key. I twist the handle, locked.

There is something behind here, or they wouldn't have locked it and used illusions to hide it.

So I push on the door. I don't know what I'm thinking. It won't just disappear if I push on it.

The I feel a sinking feeling. It's like I'm falling. I tightly close my eyes and brace for impact.

Thud!

The ground hurts when it catches you. I groan in slight pain and open my eyes.

They widen with amazement. It's like a whole new place. I long hallway and it's very tall.

"Did I just phase through the door?" I ask myself aloud.

"Oh, it's just Juliet. Well, it seems that you did phase though the door." A male voice said.

I looked to my right to see a man standing there.
