The day for the pool party had arrived. The pool party that Anayah's friends made so much noise about.

Anayah didn't ask her parents for permission because it was obvious they would disagree with her going to a party.

So instead, she told them she would be going to campus later in the evening, and that Ronné would come pick her up.

They refused to let her go out, but as soon as Ronné got there, around 7pm, and Anayah came down the stairs with books in her hands, they gave her the permission to go.

It was 10pm and Anayah was still studying with Ronné, in her room on campus.
They got to campus around 8pm, due to the many stops they made and the little traffic, and studied for two hours straight.

"Now I really want to go to the party. I don't think I can look into another book for the next twelve hours." Ronné fell flat on her back.

"We haven't done anything yet." Anayah laughed, "But I also want to go relax at the party. Maybe in the back, where the bar they set up, is. I so don't want to go near the pool."

"Yhup! You better not. I'm gonna take a quick shower and change."

"Okay." Anayah smiled at her, "I'll set a timer for 5 minutes. You better be done by then."

"Hahaha. I'm not a snail in the shower like you are. Rubbing between your toes and all that." She teased and got out of sight.

After the third ring, Analeigh decided to pick up her phone.

"Reuben..." She exhaled, opening her eyes.

"Babe, told your parents yet? It's been two days."

"Not yet..."

"Why not? I don't know why you don't want me to come tell them... What's wrong?"

"You deflowered me. Called off your wedding. Disappeared without a trace. Tore your family apart. Your sister went loco and came after my little sister. Did the cruelest thing to her. Then you came back. I got engaged to you in your car. Had sex again. Apart from all these, nothing's wrong, love."

"I told you why I did what I did. And about my sister, I'll take care of that. I want to come apologise to your parents. To your sister."

"My parents are judgmental. Hard headed.... Scratch that - my mother is. I'll try to talk to my father about it first. Then I'll let you know about his reaction. Although he isn't going to like it, I prefer to talk to him."

"What ever you say... If you take too long, I'll show up at your house."

Analeigh just laughed at him. If he dared come to her house uninvited, her parents would murder him.

Ten minutes after Anayah convinced Ronné to go have some fun at the party, as she was walking to the bar, she bumped into Cassandra.

"Glad you could make it, Anayah. I thought your mummy won't allow you to come, since she's -"

"Christian and all??" Anayah laughed, "Déjà vu or what? Or you're just going to repeat those exact words every time you see me at a party?" She rolled her eyes.

"Whatever floozy. Was just messing with you. Heard about your condition. You should be home, under your covers like a two year old. Get lost already. Don't steal my men with your cheapness."

"Why you -"

"Is this girl bothering you, miss?" Christian held Anayah back.

"No. She's not worth it."
