We need a second honeymoon

"Mommy, I'm scared." Sophia cried in Jessica's arms, because she didn't want to take the blood test.

"I know my baby, but it's important to do all the exams the doctor asked for." Jessica tried to calm her down.

"No!" Sophia screamed and buried her face in Jessica's neck.

"I wish your father was here, he always knows what to say to calm you down." Jessica hugged her tightly.

"Sophia Parker?" the nurse called.

"It's your turn princess." Jessica got up and went into the room.

"I need you to put her in that chair." said the nurse.

"All right." Jessica put Sophia in the chair.

"Mommy!" Sophia cried as the nurse touched her arm.

"It's all right my angel, she's just going to take some of your blood." Jessica stroked the girl's hair.

"No! I want to be with you, Mommy." Sophia cried and held out her arms to Jessica.

Jessica's heart squeezed, but she could not hold it in her arms now. "Shhh do not cry my baby, I'm here with you." Jessica took her daughter's hand and kissed the top of it your head.

The nurse took a syringe and inserted a small needle into Sophia's arm.

"You're hurting me." Sophia cried out loud.

"It's about to end, my love." Jessica said quietly, trying to calm her daughter.

"Ready." said the nurse.

"Thank God." Jessica picked Sophia up and hugged her tightly. Sophia kept crying softly.

"The results of the exams will be avaliable in a few days, the laboratory will contact you." the nurse said.

"Okay, thanks." Jessica said as she left the room.

"Mommy?" Sophia whimpered.

"What baby?" Jessica asked sweetly.

"I want to go home".

"All right." Jessica kissed his cheek "Come on."

Jessica came into the house with Sophia in her arms. James and Sarah were on the couch watching television.

"We're here." Jessica said, drawing their attention.

"My loves." James stood up and walked over to Jessica.

He kissed Sophia on the cheek and Jessica on the lips.

"How was the consultation?" he asked.

"Not good" Sophia said in a bad mood.

They both laughed at Sophia's reply.

"What happened?" he asked.

"She needed to make exam of blood" Jessica explained.

"Now I understood why she was pouting." said James, imitating Sophia.

"You're doing it wrong, Daddy." Sophia laughed.

"And how do you do it?" he asked playfully.

"Like this" Sophia pouted and everyone laughed.

"Thank you love, for taking Sophia." James looked at Jessica with a passionate look.

"No need to thank baby." Jessica came over and kissed him.
