My Lips On You

I want to see my daughter

It was Saturday night when James's cell phone started ringing. James and Jessica woke up stunned and he immediately picked up the cell phone.

"Hello?" he said in a hoarse voice.

"James Parker?" asked the police officer.

"It's me.What happened?" he got up from the bed and Jessica watched him.

"Mr. Parker we found your daughter".

"Where is she?" James felt his heart race and looked at Jessica, she immediately covered her mouth with her hands and her eyes filled with tears.

"She's being referred to the hospital."

"But what happened?" he tried to contain his tears.

"There was a serious accident, a car crashed into a tree, the driver died instantly, but his daughter survived."

James could no longer hold back the tears, he looked at Jessica and saw her look of concern.

"Sorry, could you send a message with the hospital address where they're taking her?" he said nervously.

"Of course sir."

"Thanks" James hung up and ran to hug Jessica.

"She's alive" he said through his tears.

"James, what happened?" Jessica was terrified.

"I'll tell you on the way to the hospital. We need to go now" he quickly changed his clothes, Jessica did the same.

At the hospital...

Sophia was in the operating room, the doctors informed her that she had an internal hemorrhage and needed to be operated on urgently. Jessica and James were in the hospital waiting room. James had his arms around Jessica's body, she could not stop crying and James was trying to be strong. Jessica cried until slept. He held her and kissed her forehead gently.

Two hours later...

Sophia was still in surgery. James decided to wake Jessica.

"Hey baby ..." he whispered in her ear "... wake up."

Jessica opened her eyes slowly and stared at James for a few seconds.

"Any news from Sophia?" she asked quickly as she realized they were still in the hospital.

"No, she's still in surgery" he said disappointedly.

"Oh baby. She's going to be fine. She's strong like you" she stroked his cheek.

"Yes, she is" a small smile formed in his mouth as tears welled in his eyes.

"Hey ..." they both looked at Sarah who was standing in front of them with tears in her eyes.

"I'm glad you came" Jessica stood up and wrapped Sarah in a hug.

"How is she?" Sarah asked worriedly as she wiped her own tears.

"She's still in surgery" James said before embracing Sarah.

"How did this happen?".

"I have no idea, all I want now is for my daughter to be well" James could not hold back the tears.

"Baby ..." Jessica hugged James.

Sarah watched them as they hugged each other.

"Jessica, you know what happened to Danny?" Sarah asked.
