And so we headed to the pack's house. I was excited to see it because we haven't seen each other since the hospital where we were discovered, let alone seen the house they have been in for two months. But that first night. Even though Matts's location is still unknown. It seemed like everything was the way it was supposed to be. I was back under the same roof as my best friends and when my parents and Cole come down I will be able to see all of my family on the same day. I think our lives were finally starting to fall into a normal routine.

However, all that changed when people started protesting for Seth to get the death penalty. 

"What do you mean we can't do anything!" I hear Red yell from downstairs. I find her and Jake fighting in the kitchen.

"Why are you so upset about this. This is what you wanted." Jake tells her.

"Not like this Jake. Not like this." Red takes a few steps back and quickly disappears into the staircase. Jake rubs his forehead with his palm. Saundra walked over and rubbed his back. I gave them an apologetic smile and followed Red. At the top of the stairs, I found Willow. Silently she seemed to know what was happening. I pulled the ladder down and climbed up into the small room at the top of the house.

"Whats going on?" I asked her pulling the ladder up behind me.

"Seth's being put on trial," she told me without turning away from the window. "Now he has a matter of weeks left on his life."

"And we don't like this. Right? Because no matter how many terrible things he did. He still gave you life." I say sitting next to her.

"We don't like this because he deserves to rot in jail till his name is as feared and Infamous as Hitler's. He doesn't deserve to die because he needs to live with the fact that he took all of our childhoods. He took my mom, and Apollo from his parents, and Willow had to have her very first memories in that hell hole. He took everything from us." She stood up.

"He did. but he gave us each other." I say to her.

"And look what that gave us. Apollo is keeping everything from his school days from us, Willow avoids us because her classmates think it's weird how close we all are, Lucy gave up on wanting to be a doctor, and Thomas locks himself in his room all day. We are no closer than we were the day we broke out." She yells at me.

"What about us. You are the best friend I could ever have and I would never have wished for something this great." I say to her trying to get her to calm down.

"He took Matt." She told me flatly. "Turned him into something that scares himself so much he left." She walked past me and crawled back down the ladder. I looked out the window trying to contain my anger. I sat there when I heard Red fight with Jake. She wanted to see Seth. I sat there when I saw her walk out the front door and climb into Saundra's car. Saundra came and backed the car out and drove away. I stayed there all of while they were gone. (ODP: 6/8/18)
