Ch. 6 Fatherly time

Mikey walks into his apartment only hear the sound of arguing from the kitchen. He sees April coming down from the stairs.

"What's going on April ?" Mikey asks.

"Um not too sure, I was on the phone upstairs" April said.

"Just leave again if your work is more important than spending time with your children" Mikey hears Ms. Wilson shout.

"Julie listen I'm almost done with my reasurch I just need 3 months,then I can be with our kids !" A male voices argued.

"It's always the same excuse with you, I want you to leave until you can decide what's more important" Ms. Wilson shouts.

Suddenly the man with red hair walks out the kitchen Mikey's face lights up with joy. April smiles happily,despite her parents having an argument, she wanted to see more of her dad.

"Kirby, your home !" Mikey smiles as he runs up to Kirby and hugs him.

"Dad !" April smiles hugging Kirby too.

"It's good to see you both" Kirby smiles hugging his daughter and adoptive son.

"Are you going to stay ? Oh are we going to hang out ?" Mikey asks exitedly.

Kirby looks at his wife who gives him an upset look. Kirby couldn't be  stay here but he didn't want to disappoint April and Mikey. You see Kirby didn't live with his wife because They had too many disagreements so they decided to live near each other. She took care of the kids and Kirby came to visit them. But the visits became less since he was decated to his work. But he couldn't say no to Mikey but he couldn't stay when his wife was upset with him.

"How about I take you guys out for ice cream for a bit" Kirby offers with a smile.

"Yeah I'll get Leo !" Mikey said as he and April run up to get Leo.

Kirby looks to see his wife to leave to the kitchen.

Meanwhile  at the foot clan hideout,

Shredder sighs in annyounce as Karai enters the throne room.

"You wanted to see me, dad ?" Karai asks with an evil smirk.

"I told you to kill Blade and Turflytle not to steal a ruby" Shredder snares.

"Be paicent Father, this is only part one of our plan, once I meet blade again, he'll be falling at my feet" Karai smirks.

"And what is that supposed to mean Karai ?" Shredder snares, not liking how that sounds.

"Oh you'll see" Karai said with a sly grin.

Karasu sighs as he looks at a picture of his youngerself and his mother. They looked so happy back then before he ran away to live with his friends after finding out he was a mistake that one night.

He remembers when he was 9 seeing his father for the first time in all his life and how happy Karasu was to see him but Bradford wasn't impressive seeing his 'son' half Asian and half scottish. His mother told him to go upstairs while she talks to Bradford. Karasu obyed and went upstairs but instead of going to his room, he listens in on The conversation. He wishes he didn't  because the moment he hears "just because we had something doesn't mean that mistake is my son" Karasu relized he was born by mistake.

That night changed how he views himself. He always felt like he was missed placed in time and wasn't supposed to be there.

But it wasn't all that bad, he had friends who cared about him and that was enough. He had Maddie who's been a little sister to him and she'd looks up to him.

Karasu stands up and pours a little saki into the a cup and takes a sip, trying to think why would his fatehr an evil foot ninja, who works for an crime lord be working as an schoo lteacher ... unless there was a reason for being there. Like Bradford was on a undercover mission. But why ? Why would The Shredder send Bradford into his school, unless there where after someone. But who and why would the foot be after this person.

Karasu wasn't sure but one thing is sure he and his gang where going to figure it out.

Maddie suddenly enters the apartment.

"Hey Karasu" Maddie said.

"Hey Maddie" Karasu said as he pours his drink in the sink.

Maddie was very short for her age, she was 14 but she looked younger than that but her short size has been useful seeking into small spaces, that's why Bushi gang kept her around but Karasu kept her around because Maddie needed someone to look up to and Karasu always saw her as a little sister.

"Rai told me what happend, was it really your dad ?" Maddie asks with concern.

"Yeah, it was my dad, I just know he's up to something, he has to be" Karasu said.

"Maybe your dad has changed, maybe he wanted to see you" Maddie said softly putting hand on his shoulder.

"At first I thought it could he possible, but my dad has never been a good man, he's never cared for me once" Karasu said whipping his tears away.

Maddie hugs him.

"Will stop what ever he's planning" Maddie said softly.

Karasu puts his arm around Maddie's shoulder.

"Thanks sis" Karasu whispers.
