Everything was normal during my first 2 periods.

Or at least, as normal as school gets including a hyper friend, school work, exams, assignments, more school work, and... did I mention? School work!

Honestly, it's the last 2 months of school! Not the middle of the school year!

I sighed as went to my locker to get my lunch. Then I went down to the cafeteria to eat.

Finding Gabe on the way, we found a table to sit at.

I glanced over to a table filled with multiple girls. And low and behold, Jessica.

Yes, we had history. We used to be friends in elementary school, but then we just drifted apart. And I would've been fine if it was just another school day.

But nope! The world decided that I'd loose my closest friend along with my family! How wonderful right?

Do you know how awkward it is to stand at the funeral alone because your entire family's dead, and people who you've only met once go up to you saying "Sorry for your loss"? Cuz I do. Like it's not like they killed my family right?

Now I'm stuck with some temporary parents for a while, since the parents felt bad for me and no one else wants a 14 year old to take care of. I mean have you met us? We're weird as hell. Well that was 3 years ago, I'm kinda over it now.... kind of.

Also my parents er- ex-parents... didn't have siblings. And the people feeling 'so Sorry' and were 'very close to them' didn't feel like taking care of me.

And I don't blame them...

Not even an acknowledgement from Jessica, I'm not even sure if she knows about what happened...

Gabe saw how I looked at Jessica, she was always there for me, or at least as often as she possible could be.

"Lets sit here"

Gabe said as we sat at a somewhat empty table and far away from Jessica.

We ate and talked about stuff. Which kept me distracted, for a while, until I started drifting off.

I turned back to reality. Dammit I must've zoned out.

Was she talking about a game? Which one?

"You know... the 'Undertale' one?"

"Oh right, that one."

Gabe rolled her eyes

"Well I find it pretty fun so far, I like Toriel and the puzzles in it. And Papyrus! He's silly, as well as Sans, he has great puns"

"Great! I knew you'd like it! I was playing it and saw that it had things you'd like"

I nodded.

"Yup it's fun. I'm glad you told me about it!"

The bell rang indicating time for 4th period.

I sighed as I got up and said bye to Gabe. This is gonna be sooo fun! You know, since summative that is worth 30% of your mark is very amusing..

~After school~

My parents right now are really different from my parents before.

I mean before I couldn't go out with anyone unless it was with someone my parents knew and as long as it was a girl.

But the family I'm with don't mind me leaving as long as I tell them when I'll be back.

Which is exactly why I'm at Gabe's watching a show with her in her room and having fun. Even if it is pretty getting pretty late.
