Callie's POV:

I woke up in the hospital. When I woke up I saw Jude in the chair next to my bed asleep. I needed to see if Jude brought the things with him.

“Jude" I cried softly because I had just woke up.

Right then Brandon walked threw the door

“Oh hey Brandon??? " I said in more of a question. he doesn't even know me. What is he doing in here???

“Hey how are you feeling??? " he questioned

“great considering I got shot and my head slammed against a door. Why didn't you help me???? "

“ It all just happened so fast. I have never been put in that situation before. I am truly sorry. All week me and Jude have been putting your pain on us. Like because of us your in-"

“ Wait I was in here for a week!!???!???"

“um yeah you were in a coma.... Jude hasn't left your side. As I said he is blaming himself for your life I guess. But how could I just stand there and watch that happen to you??? I feel like I could of pulled him off of you and you wouldn't be here."

“ Brandon its-"

“No I am not finished. I told moms everything that happened. They understand, but I could of done something. I was in total shock. When Marianna and Jesus first came to live with us they told us how bad the foster system was, but I never thought it was this bad"

“Brandon its fine. I am not blaming you. But I did tell you what you were getting your self into.... oh my God I almost forgot did Jude happen to have a big brown rusty box with him???? "

“ well not at first. But then your old foster dad came up to my moms and gave it to them, so I have heard. Why is it something important?"

“ Yeah a little. Um do you mind waking up Jude for me, I would but every time I move it feels like hell."

“ sure, no problem. Its the least I can do."

Just then Brandon shook Jude.

“ Brandon please I need to sleep. I haven't slept in 5 days. Jude said

“ well why don't you look to your right and see if your still pissed at me for waking you up.

“CALLIE!!!!!!!!!! oh my gosh!!!!. I am so sorry for what happened. And what happened with Lia-"

“ Jude I know you are but could you not mention you know who in front of " I said making my eyes look at Brandon then back at Jude so he knew what I was talking about.

“ oh yeah sure no problem. But did you want to see the box???"

“um I will give you to some privacy " Brandon said as he walked out the door.

“ok hand it over" I said as I snacked the box out of Jude's hands.
