CHAPTER: 7

Callie's POV:

I was just about to open the box when Jude stopped me.

“callie, show me your wrists" Jude said and I knew where this was going. So I showed him my wrists.

“Callie, are these fresh??? Did you just cut yourself recently???" I then look down even though it hurt to even do that. I felt so ashamed. Jude has been knowing about my cutting problems since we were in are second foster home. By my actions Jude knew the answer.

“ Callie please you got to stop this. This isn't away to deal with your pain of missing Brandon"

“Jude this is my only way to deal with it and now since *you know what happened* I feel like if I ever meet him again he will hate me. So if I start off with pain then it shouldn't hurt that much!!!" I said I was now in tears.

“callie I know how much you miss him. I miss him to. He was like a big brother to me. But Callie Brandon wouldn't want you cutting your self."

“ I know and I am sorry, but can I see the box please"

I started to open the box. It still look the same since last time I saw it. It was a metal box decorated with a blue ribbon that had a little shimmer at the end, and in the middle was my moms name hand written. Kelly ( I know the name of her mom just I am a horrible speller so I just used my real moms name ). It was beautiful just a little faded. But as I started to open it, I stopped.

“ Jude what if  he never wants to see me. What if he has a girlfriend who is beautiful and pretty, the things I'm not. What if he is in love with her " I was now totally stressing

“ what if he will. Won't you just be happy to see him? Won't you just be happy to have your best friend back in your life?"

“yeah but I think I should just wait to open the box, you know till we get to the house"

“if that's what you want Callie. Do you want me to hold on to it till then or....."

“ I would like to hold on to it "

“ ok do you want me to get Stef and Lena they have been wanting to talk to you"

“yes please"

2 min later

“ knock knock " Lena said. I knew she was just trying to get started on a happy note.

“ Callie how are you-" Stef started but then I cut her off

“ I am so sorry. I told Brandon to go back but he said he just had to come. I understand if you want to send me away. I just had to get Jude back. My old foster father has been um... never mind but he is a bad person and I had to get Jude out of there. I am really sorry." After I had finished Stef and Lena looked at me with a stunned expression on there faces.

“ sweet heart we are not going to send you away. When I got there and I saw what happened, I knew that you loved your brother. Me and Lena have the most respect for you. We also know that Brandon wasn't going to leave, because believe it or not, when you stepped threw that door Brandon took you into his heart and you became his sister. You became a part of this family and we don't let anyone hurt are family. We know that Brandon watched you get shot, but if he could redo that moment he would of taken the bullet for you."
