Callie's POV:

we arrived home before anyone else. It was 11:25 when I left and I got back at 2:30. I was thankful that nobody else was home besides me,Lena, and Stef because it would be embarrassing having them help me with this stuff. I mean I am not one to have  a lot of clothes. But since Stef and Lena had done this way to many times they were picking up 20 bags at a time. I was really shocked about that to. But considering that they weren't that big I guess it wasn't impossible. by the time they were done I was in the music room grabbing the guitar. I headed out with it. I played it for a while until I remembered the song my mom Kelly would sing to me.

I'm feeling higher than the sun rise

feeling lovelier than midnight

and I wouldn't change a thing

I'm standing taller now than ever

everything from here looks better

No I wouldn't change a thing

you can try to bring me down

and take my soul and shake my ground

I'll shine brighter. I'll shine brighter, brighter

ohh, I learn I'm a shooting star

and no one can change who we are

and no one can take that away

I know that I'm good enough

and I know that I'm beautiful

and no one can take that away from me.

Right when I was moving on to the the next verse. Jude came up behind and said

“ I haven't heard that song in forever "

“ I know, I just am really missing mom right now and I just remembered this song. I think that I should sing this more often "

“ Callie do you mind if I sing along next time?? "

“ buddy it would be a privilege to have you sing with me. "

“ Now I checked out your soon to be room and why do you have so many clothes "

“ Stef and Lena thought it would be good for me to have a variety of things to wear " I said leaning down my head in embarrassment.

“ Well I can't wait to go shopping " he said smiling at me which always puts a smile on my face.

“ Jude I am so sorry that I didn't walk you to school. I feel so horrible " I said

“ Callie its fine. I rode with Lena and this family is actually pretty cool "
