He Left...Forever

I still remember the exact date and time.
4th of July, 6:45pm it was the day of our anniversary.
But I didn't know that on the day where we met is also the day that he will took him away from me.

It was raining so hard on that day, I was lying beside you. And you tell me words I never thought you'd say to me but you did. But I didn't know you're saying your goodbye to me.
Those words still haunts me every time I close my eyes.
Do you still remember your promise? That we are going to grow old together.
" We're going to spend our silver and golden anniversary together." You said. I chuckled and then you made me look at you. "I promise to be with you forever." You added.
My heart fluttered and I couldn't even utter a word. I was speechless cause on that day I was very happy. But little did I know that smile will turn into a traumatic day for me.
