I heard him before I smelt him. He opened the door the front office and I watched in horror via the receptionists eyes as my exact copy made his way towards the fragile wood desk.
My hands convulsed and shook with rage which I so desperately tried to hold me to my place, I could few eyes on me, I could feel HER eyes on me. I replayed Peter's words within my head, "Keep her safe until I arrive, or else."
Daunting words I know, not. He was only a guardian, I was a VAMPIRE, and if I could have I would have. Now we were all screwed, I wouldn't have the chance to get Peter for what he did, that girl's life would change forever and in theory the world would never be the same.
All the while I maintained my link with her mind, something all beings could do, pardon humans. She easily gave into his hypnotic ways, and soon he stalked towards the school wearing the blue and red of our uniform.
