Introduction

सत्य -सत्यमेवेश्वरो लोके सत्ये धर्मः सदाश्रितः ।

सत्यमूलनि सर्वाणि सत्यान्नास्ति परं पदम् ॥

[Translation: Truth is God in the world; Religion is also dependent on truth; Truth is the same essence - the origin of the universe; There is nothing above truth.]

Welcome Readers,

This Book is one of the many ideas I had in mind regarding Indian mythology. For a very long time, I wanted to write such a book, and finally, I started it. I won't deny the fact that I would be requiring a lot of help from you guys because writing about Ramayana and Mahabharata isn't a small task.

Both the epics are huge and grandeur in scope. It's really difficult for us to understand each of them with proper details.

These two epics have always intrigued me and taught me many life lessons. I love them and the amazing characters they offer.

This Book, Saptsindhu Trilogy, is a very small attempt to create an Alternate mythic tale taking characters and major events from both of these epics and blending them together to create a unique story.

I am really hoping that you will find it interesting and worth reading. If there are any suggestions, advice, requests, etc. then feel free to pm me anytime regarding anything.

Disclaimer

The book is a work of fiction and is heavily inspired by the two known epics viz. Ramayana and Mahabharata. The events that will take place in this book are purely for reading purpose and aren't meant to hurt anyone's sentiments or beliefs. The names used in the book are real as well as fictitious. If you find any resemblance to your life's story or events, then it would be a pure coincidence.

The book will feature many characters from Ramayana and Mahabharata but their families and backstories will be slightly different. The India I am presenting in this book is also very ancient and I nowhere claim that the portrayal would be historically accurate.

You are free to suggest me edits if you feel like.

I totally respect the right of expression and all are free to comment anything in the comments section, but if it would be derogatory, insensitive and hurtful, then I might delete it so please don't make it a battleground of arguments.
