Chapter 18

Dana's POV:

San Diego has been a blast. I enjoyed spending this weekend with everyone and it's sad that we're all going to depart. I'm here smiling at all the memories we made while my head is laying on Jack's shoulder while we're waiting for the plane. Jack looks down at me and pinches my nose.

"Ouch that hurts"

"That means you got dried boogers in your nose" Jack teases.

"So mature Jack" I say while grabbing a tissues from my bag.

"So I've been meaning to ask you something."

"Spill."

"Well.. Uh we're having a party this weekend and all my friends from school are coming so do you want to come?"

"Oh okay sure... Omaha is like a two hour flight away from where we live so no problem.."

I hear him whisper "yes" in victory. I look at him in a questioning way and he tries to play cool. "Oh I mean see you there then.. I mean uh can't wait..  uh.. poo"

"You're such a weirdo." I kiss his nose.

"How do you know I don't have dry boogers?"

"Jack!" I slap his arm.

"Flight 238,  your plane has arrived please be ready to depart.."

"Well I guess I'll see you then.." I say while standing up giving him a smirk. He stands up and gives me a tight hug. I hug the other guys too but I see Aaron quite down, Angela left yesterday and he has been really down since she left. He probably misses her already.

"Hey she'll be back in a month kay? hang in there." I saw while hugging him.

Dani and I are now off back to our natural habitat.

We're back home and I don't miss it. It seems so dull here without the boys.. I rush to the kitchen with a box of pizza in my hands.

"God Dana aren't you ever gonna get tired of pizza?" Dani says while she takes out her jacket and hangs it on the coat rack near our door.

"Don't speak to me during my glory hour.. or seconds..." I say before stuffing my face with a slice of pizza.

"You're so gross." Dani says while bringing out her box of donuts.

"I have such a sweet tooth don't I?"

"You know what else is sweet? Jack invited me to a party this weekend and all his friends from school are gonna be there. Wanna come with?"

"Nah it's fine I'll probably stay back home and skype with Shawn. Plus I don't wanna be third wheeling."

"Oooo so you and Shawn huh? did you guys DTR?" (for those of you who don't watch the series Awkward, it means Define The Relationship)

"Nah he's courting me, we're taking it slow.. actually not really he kissed me. But I guess we didn't DTR. "

"Ooo courting you all old school."

"Ya I guess"

Wow Dani and Shawn really has something going on. I wonder if Jack and I even have anything going on. We never really talked about what happened but he comforted me the right way. I know I like him I really do. I even stopped texting Jared,  turns out he was a total player. I saw him at the airport making out with some girl but I didn't care cause I had Jack. If I even had him. But hey I have him as a friend. This reminds me I have to ask dad if I could go.

I take out my phone and call him.

"Hey dad Jack is having a party this weekend back in Omaha. I just want to ask you If I can go since you're busy this week."

"All the way in Omaha? that's like a two hour flight honey."

"But dadddddddd "

"I don't know If I want you to go two hours away, I mean how are you gonna get there? and especially with some guy."

"Dad we have a driver. Ben remember? He could drop me to the airport then I will hop on flight there. I can spend a week there and you KNOW Jack. He's a good guy."

"Okay fine sweetie. Just no alcohol or funny business.."

"Thankyooou dad!" I close the phone and continue eating. Ew what does dad mean by funny business? I'm not up for that. I'm all for being a virgin. I can't wait for this weekend though.
