"Louis! I have great news for you!"

The second Harry stepped into the apartment, his voice echoed everywhere. Louis was currently watching something on the television. He didn't want to go with Harry to the cafe, no matter how much he loved to watch Harry perform, he was feeling really tired.

"What is it?" Louis sat up on the couch from his previous laying position.

"So I went to work-"

"No shit." Louis mumbled earning a light smack at the back of his head by Harry.

"Anyway...they're hiring because Jason had to quit. And I thought maybe you would be interested-"

"Yes." Louis interrupted almost abruptly.

"You would?" Harry lit up. "I told them about you and they said they'll take down the sign and can wait for you to come tomorrow for the interview."

"Oh my god, Harry! Thank you so much!" Louis wrapped his arms around Harry's neck and brought him in for a hug.

"No problem, love." Harry smiled, burying his nose into Louis' neck and wrapping his arms around Louis' small waist.

"Have you eaten?" Harry asks after pulling away. Louis shakes his head and Harry's eyes go wide.

"I wasn't hungry." Louis shrugged like it wasn't a big deal. Harry stood up almost immediately and switched off the TV and pulled Louis to the kitchen, no matter how much Louis protested.

"Sit or you wanna help?"

"Harry." Louis whined, stomping his feet like a child.

"Sit or you wanna help?" Harry asked again, putting more emphasis.

"Wanna help." Louis finally gave in with a huff.

Harry and Louis cooked a small dinner for one person. It was just like last time. Harry guiding Louis throughout the time and Harry cooking at the end when the stove was to be used.

Louis sat eating with Harry sat right beside him.

"Don't you have anything better to do than sit here?"

"No." Was Harry's simple reply. Louis' looked down at his plate and was sure his cheeks turned light pink. Harry, on the other hand, was left smiling fondly.

It felt great to Harry that he didn't have to hide his feelings anymore. He could call Louis all the sweet names that he was dying to. He could touch Louis whenever he wanted to. He could be as close with Louis as he wanted to. And the best part, Louis never pushed him away.

Louis was getting ready to go to the cafe to see whether he gets the job or not. Harry was coming with because he didn't want Louis to be alone. After getting ready, they both sat in Harry's car and Harry drove off.

"Want to hear something from the radio?" Harry asked

"Sure." Harry turned it on and a song started to play that made Louis crunch his nose because it was just that bad. It could be easily said that a girl was just trying too hard and screaming. Nothing more. Harry laughed when he saw Louis' reaction and changed the channel from where the song that just started made Louis gasp.

"Oh my god! Can we listen to this? Please." Louis literally begged like a little child begging for some candy, joining his both hands together.

"Sure. You like this band?"

"Yes! So much!" Harry chuckled at Louis and looked ahead at the road.

Louis started humming along with the song while thinking Harry couldn't hear him, when in reality Harry could hear him perfectly. Louis sang some verses and Harry couldn't believe Louis' voice. It was sharp yet had a sweet and elegant touch to it. He bit his lips to stop himself from complimenting because he knew Louis didn't mean for him to hear and will get all shy and stutter. He wanted Louis to be confident right now, not shy. So he kept the compliments with him until later.
