It was new year's eve when Harry had asked Louis out for the whole day, saying that he wanted the last day of the year to be only for Louis. Louis, of course, accepted it, looking for any excuse to spend time with the curly haired lad.

Zayn had been noticing the difference in Louis' behaviour during the past five days and he had seen a massive change. Sure the shy Louis was still there but this Louis was actually accepting everything and anything Harry had to offer. Whether it be a touch, a hug, a cuddle, a whisper, a kiss. Basically anything. The Louis he left would never let anyone near him, always had his borders and would just talk when necessary. This was a big revolution in his personality and Zayn wouldn't hesitate one bit to say that he was immensely glad and proud of the boy who he had grown to love as his own brother. Yet he didn't question him about any of it.

Now that he was back, Louis moved back to the flat. That didn't stop the new couple to communicate. Zayn was amazed seeing Louis on his phone, either texting or talking to Harry. They had the days after Christmas till the new year off from work (Harry, Louis and also Zayn) so Zayn saw Louis on the phone all these days, except a day in between where Harry came over, claiming he missed Louis.

The boys had spent Christmas together at Zayn's and Louis' flat, Harry was invited. They had a cute little Christmas tree set, spending two whole hours to get it settled and decorated. Zayn didn't forget the Christmas presents and had bought them from Bradford, Louis and Harry had bought them two days before Louis' birthday, keeping the items they bought a secret from each other. They secretly wrapped them in their own rooms back at the flat that night. They cooked a delicious dinner for that night, Zayn finally witnessing how Louis helped in cooking because Louis never cooked in front of Zayn. Zayn started to realize that he was just there for Louis and helped him but he never did anything to make him believe otherwise from his thoughts, which gave birth to a small guilt in him. But he was more than thankful to Harry for being the person to actually do it.

Louis and Harry had came out as a couple to the others on Christmas making Zayn say how his little child was growing up, directing it to Louis. Niall and Ashton were equally happy for both of their friends, Niall loving the new couple indescribably a lot.

Right now, the couple was getting ready for their first official date. Louis had picked out jeans and a comfy sweater, he loves his sweaters, not to mention so does Harry, and had a beanie over his head, having little fringes peeking out, the beanie was of Harry that Louis never really returned for some reason. He also had the necklace on but it was tucked inside the sweater.

Soon when the door bell rang, he started hyperventilating. This was his first ever date, what if something goes wrong? What if he messes up? What if Harry doesn't enjoy himself with him? Okay maybe the last one wouldn't be true because they did spend three weeks together but the first two can definitely be.

He was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't realize Zayn had opened the door, letting Harry into the living room. Zayn came to tell Louis about this in his room but saw Louis biting his nails anxiously with a frown on his face. Sighing, because it was completely obvious that Louis was over thinking, he entered the room and closed the door so Harry wouldn't hear or see anything.

"Care to explain why you are so nervous?" Zayn sat himself on Louis' small bed.

"Zayn, what if he doesn't enjoy himself? What if I mess up? You know that I mess up a lot."

"The only thing I do know is that you are thinking of something going wrong when, in reality, nothing like that is gonna happen. So I suggest you stop thinking about the negatives and get your ass out there 'cuz Harry's waiting."

"I can't go. I just can't. I think I'm gonna throw up. I can't go. What if something goes wrong?"

"What could possibly go wrong?"
