Imagine: Ed taking you in after you get out of Arkham Asylum.

Ed heard a knock on the door which sounded more like someone punching metal. He wedged it open to see the last person he thought would be on his doorstep.

"Y/N, I thought you were still in Arkham? You aren't supposed to be out for another week or two."

You stared at him, panting heavily, eyes looking like a deer in headlights.

"Hi, Ed." Walking over to his couch and taking a seat, you let out a huge sign of relief. You hadn't felt comfort like this in ages.

"Y/N, did you escape or were you released early?"

"Let's just say I got out, Ed. That way you aren't an accomplice to anything." You flashed a grin.

"You shouldn't have escaped! If you get caught you'll be charged with more than you already were to start with."

Ed was obviously worried about you, as he should be. You were known to be a little reckless.

"Everything's Fine, Ed. I got released. I didn't escape."

"Oh." Ed set his glass of water on the coffee table and sat down on the couch next to you. "You could've just said that."

"Well, I wanted to mess with you. Otherwise it would have been no fun." He had an expression of relief and concern plastered across his face. "Anyway, I was wondering if I could stay here for the night. Like we used to. You remember those days, don't you Ed?"

"I would never be able to forget those moments, Y/N. They are too precious to me."

Memories of spending the night at Ed Nygma's apartment flooded your mind, causing heat to rise to your cheeks. Some nights you would sleep together and have lots of fun, but some nights you would just stay up talking like old friends.

"So, Ed. What do you want to do tonight?" Your mouth turned upright into a smirk.

"Well, if you don't have any ideas, I think I've got a couple."
