Chapter 20: Sure

Maya's POV
" Maya." Someone called. I recognize his voice." We better go." Mal Said heading inside their limousine with the others except Riley, Lucas, Charlie, Julia, and I.

" Julia go inside with your uncle Charlie, uncle Lucas, and aunt Riley." I said. Julia went inside as I said so. I turned around and face him.

" I want to talk to you." He said." Not now. I just want to go to sleep." I lied. I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight." Tomorrow?" He asked." I'm going to the castle." I answered.

" Oh. I'll see you then." He said with a hopeful smile. I just smiled back and head inside. We left and head back to the place we are staying.

I went to Julia and I's room and changed and removed my make up. Julia went to the bathroom and changed before lying down on our bed.

I smiled and lie down next to her." Mom, can you sing me a song?" She asked snuggling to me." Sure, what song do you want me to sing?" I asked.

" Smile." She said." Ok." I said.

I sang it in a acoustic version. By the time I was done Julia was sound asleep. I smiled and kissed her forehead and placed the cover to keep her warm and cozy.

I got off the bed and walked to the bay window." Hey peaches." Riley said walking in and sat down next to me." Hey Riles." I said." You can't sleep?" She asked.

I nodded and sighed." Is it about Mal?" She asked whispering so she can't wake Julia up. I shake my head no." It's Josh. He wants to talk to me." I said.

" Then talk to him." She said." Riley I can't. Who knows if he have a girlfriend? If we talk and her girlfriend finds out their relationship can be ruined." I said.

" Maya, stop thinking like that. You go talk to him. I don't care who's relationship are gonna break. I care about Julia. She doesn't know her father is around her. Do you want her to grow up without knowing who her father is?" Riley asked along a point.

I looked at Julia sleeping." Of course I want her to meet her father. I care about her. She's my daughter." I answered not making an eye contact but instead stare at my daughter.

" Maya, what are you afraid of?" She asked." M not afraid Riley." I answered and sighed." I'm gonna go to sleep." I said and went under the cover of the bed and hugged Julia and closing my eyes.

" Good night Maya." She said before closing the door.

Next day

" Mommy wake up!" Julia said jumping up and down on the bed. I groaned." Give me more 5 minutes honey." I said then I heard the door opened and closed them out of no where another one jumps on the bed.

" Peaches wake up!" Riley shouted laughing. Hearing Julia and Riley laugh makes me smile. I ignored them and continue to sleep." Mom!" Julia screamed and jump on top of me.

" Give mommy a kiss and I'll wake up." I said smiling without opening my eyes. I felt her soft little lips crush on my cheek as she hugged me. I giggled and hugged her back and kissed her forehead before getting out off bed.

She helped me fix the bed while Riley went to the kitchen and cooked breakfast." I already take a shower." Julia said." Ok, go to aunt Riley while I take shower ok?" I said as she nodded and left.

I went to the bathroom and take a shower and changed. I did my hair loose and wore a white lacy top and cover it with button down black dress an paired it with leather high boots.
