I woke up and hear someone attempting to sing. It was the same awful shower singing that could be heard throughout the house as a kid. I smiled and got out of bed. I almost walked out but realized I was naked. I just threw on some sweat pants and a sweat shirt, not even worrying about underwear. I went downstairs and poured some orange juice. I went back upstairs and sat on my bed. I unlocked my phone and saw a message from Gavin.

gavy- sorry I had to leave like that. I forgot about my brother. But last night was amazing and I'm hopping that you would be willing to do it again sometime.

I smiled as I read the message.

me-it's okay. And doing last night again would be lovely. ;)

Then Michael got out of the shower, still singing. "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I yelled at him.

"FUCK YOU!" he yelled. I busted into laughter.

"WHERE ARE YOUR TOWELS?!" I asked. Michael stormed in with out and shirt and only in his shorts. "Put on clothes!" I said with a smile.

"No. Listen. shut the fuck up. Okay? alright." He walked into the bathroom connected to my room. "Look, in a bathroom, towels are usually in the towel closet. So that's where they are now." He said flinging the closet door open. I laughed and he began to leave but turned around.

"Wait. Question. Why wasn't gav here this morning?" he asked. "Did you guys have a fight?" he looked a little worried but I chuckled a bit.

"Oh no. We're great but his bother landed at like 6 this morning sooo..." i said.

"Oh yeah his bother came in today." Michael recalled.

"Nah duh!" I said.

"Shut the fuck up and clean yourself." and with that he left. I laughed to myself and turned on music. I began singing. I turned on the shower and got undressed. i was surprised that Michael was screaming at me to shut up.

I got out but continued singing. I put on my 'stop staring at my chest' shirt that barbs had given me last time I was here, black nike athletic shorts, my black tennis shoes, usual make up, and the same rose gold arrow neckless that I always wore. I turned off my music but was still mumble singing the song. I walked to the kitchen and saw Michael.

"I'm surprise you didn't yell at me to shut up." I told him once I saw him in the kitchen.

"Well you have a beautiful voice and I never get to hear it anymore so I enjoyed it." He said.

"Well thank you." I said.

"Have you overcome that stage fright yet?" he asked me. All my life I've been afraid to sing in front of people. I was fine talking to a group of people but not singing. I shook my head. "Good. You're going to sing tonight." He said. I almost choked on air.

"No Michael." I said as I shook my head and began to walk to the fridge.

"Yes. I'm going to get you over this because your voice is amazing and needs to be shared." He said.

"No Michael. There's no way. You're the only person I've ever been comfortable singing in front of and I can't do it." I said and grabbed a water.

"Yes morgan you have to." He pleaded.

"No." I shook my head again. I walked past him with my water to the couch.

"Come on mo! you're great and Gavin wants you to sing." he said following. I spit out the water in my mouth.

"You told Gavin that I sing?!" I said.

"Yes. And you're cleaning that." He pointed and the water on the ground.
