Not everything can be fixed

Emily's pov.

I place my money on the coffee cart I see a flashing light then boom! I fly up but lay back down immediately wincing as pain shoots through every part of my body. I feel the sweat on my forehead as I try to focus on where I am but my vision is to blurry. My breathing slows and I can hear the moniters bleeping sound slowing down. I slowly turn my head ignoring the pain I see easter holding my hand smiling at me and my mum asleep on a chair in the corner. "hey how you feeling" I smile feeling safe. "Like shit, where's james" I groan. The smile drops from his face. "the team will be notified that you've woken up and they will want to come and see you." he says totally ignoring my question.

But before I can reply to Easter pain explodes in my stomach causing me to groan and hold my stomach tightly. I roll onto my side wincing in pain, my mum jumps up and runs out screaming for help and Easter runs round the other side of the bed so he's facing me. "What's wrong" he panics. "it hurts" he lets out a shaky breath "ok, help will be here soon just stay still and don't move" I look him in the eye. "ok" is all I manage to spit out.

Rossi's pov.

We walk down to Emily's room to find it empty "where's Emily" JJ asks "this is her room, right?" reid asks toppling another question onto the tower we already have. I then see Easter and Emily's mum in the corner of my eye. "there" I literally shout getting closer to them I realise Easter is hugging Emily's mum who was crying and a stranger with the same facial features as Emily. "where's Emily" hotch questions, "whats going on" morgan adds.

James' pov.

I walk back and fourth more times than I can count I start to get impatient so I walk up to the desk. "Do you know where Emily Prentiss is?" The women at the desk looks up at me. "who are you, she's been placed under protective custody, so for all I know you could be that guy trying to kill her" I step back a little shocked. "I'm her brother" I say, then all of Emily's team look at me in shock. "you what now" Morgan interrupts. Easter and my mum pull away from the hug and walk over to me. "she's out of surgery and back in the same room she was in before" the lady at the desk whispers in my ear so the others don't hear. I turn and smile at her patting my hands on the desk and grabbing easters wrist and pulling him as soon as I do easter grabs my mums wrist so her and easter are being pulled down the corridor by me. "where are we going" my mum shouted. "to see Emily" I say walking to the room where there are loads of officers pulling Easter and my mum through. We entered through the double glass doors and sat next to Emily she sturred but didn't wake up. Westayed the night well Easter and my mum fell asleep but I stayed awake and the team left, and honestly I can't believe them they leave Emily in a hospital bed literally dying and maybe if they were there for Emily then she wouldn't be dying right now right here infront of me. I blame them and I will get my revenge on peter smith and her supposed 'family' who didn't protect her when she needed it.
