An hour passes and we make it to the bar. The bodyguard remembers us and let's us in without checking our ID's, which I was secretly hoping he would. We enter and to our surprise we don't see Gabe around. Instead I see Tori and Perry from my 'surprise' party. I smile and walk over to them and sit on the stool next to Perry while Kelly and Anna follow and sit on the right side of me.
"Well look who it is, come to play another game of paranoid," Tori winks, and I cringe at the memory.
"What's paranoid?" Anna asks.
"Just a drinking game," Tori answers her.
"Where's Gabe?" Kelly asks, thank god changing the subject.
"Out in the back, he'll be back in a minute," Tori tells her. "Until then what can I get you dolls?"
"I'll have a vodka tonic," Kelly orders.
"I'll have vodka cranberry please," Anna says next.
"Water," I say, simply. Kelly and Anna look at me annoyed, but thankfully don't say anything.
Of course that doesn't stop Perry. "What are you turning a new leaf or something?" He asks.
"I just don't like to drink," I shrug.
"Then what was that at the party? You were downing drinks like it was water."
"That was only because it was my birthday."
"It was fun while it lasted," Kelly mumbles.
All of the sudden Gabe walks in from the back and his eyes go wide in shock when he sees me. He then smiles and walks over to us.
"Hey you guys came after all," Gabe says.
"Well we'd be stupid to say no to free drinks," Kelly winks at him.
I still don't get why she still tries so hard when he's made it obvious that he's not into her, but Kelly likes a challenge. And knowing her she's not going to give up that easily, know matter how pathetic she looks.
"You're not going to drink anything Angel?" He asks me, ignoring Kelly.
And risk getting drunk and make out with you again. Yeah, dream on buddy.
"No I'm fine with water," I give him a fake smile, and take a sip of my water.
"Suit yourself," he grins, probably thinking the same thing I am.
"By the way, did you two end up hooking up that night?" I almost spit the water out of my mouth when Perry asked that out loud.
"What?" Kelly is the one to speak first.
Oh no.
"Yeah, we were playing paranoid and Sky admitted if she didn't have a boyfriend she'd fuck Gabe, then they left the room together," he explains.
God damnit Perry!
"What!" Anna gasp, while Kelly glares at me.
"It's not as bad as it sounds!" I try to defend myself, and then look to Gabe begging him for help.
He sees the desperation in my eyes and speaks up. "She's right, Perry is over exaggerating as usual. She had to pick someone in the room, which is why she picked me. It's just a stupid game, it doesn't mean anything," Gabe explains to them, which thankfully makes Kelly relax a little.
