"Can You Show Me?" { A Lapidot Story} [Discontinued]

The Working Part

Hey guys! Sorry for the wait and the bad title. Still won't be updating much. Just whenever I can. I started watching Camp Camp and I know I'm late but that show is hilarious! Well ok bai.

Peridots P.O.V.
At lunch Lapis decided to come over to my house (room) to work on the project. So when I got home I cleaned up my room a bit so it wouldn't look super bad. Right  before I know it I hear a knock at my bedroom door.

Lapis P.O.V
I'm going over to Peridots house to work on our project. I should change into something more comfortable yet warm. I go looking through my dresser for something. I come across an outfit I haven't worn in years. It's the blue crop top and skirt that I couldn't really fit back then. I would try it on when I was younger and Citrine always said I looked stunning. Beautiful. I wonder if she still thinks that......  The top used to go down to my waist and the skirt would touch the floor. Now they fit regularly. The top ends half way past my stomach and the skirt goes down to my calf's. I decide to put that on with a jacket and realize I'll be late to Peridots if I don't leave now. I grab my backpack and quietly leave the building without disturbing anyone and head over to her place.

I knew where the Crystal Gem Orphanage is so it didn't take long to get there. When I got there I knocked on the door and a tall woman opened it. "Umm, hi." I said waving up at her. "H-hello. On no! Were you kicked out?!" She asked worriedly. "No, I'm here to see Peridot. We need to work on our math project." I replied. "O-oh! Well then right this way." She said letting me inside. This place is bigger than I thought. "My name is Rose Quartz, but you can just call me Rose. What's your name?" She asked giving a soft smile. "Lapis Lazuli, But you can call me Lapis." I said returning the soft smile. We stopped at a green door in which I assumed was Peridots. "She should be inside. Just knock and see." She said, smiling and then turning around to head back down the hall. "Oh, and dinner will be ready soon!" She yelled down the hallway. 'Dinner?' I wonder what that is.

I knocked at the door like Rose told me to and waited for it to be opened. Just a second later, Peridot opens the door. "Hey Lapis! Come on in." She said, letting me inside. I walked into an unsurprisingly green room. "Sorry the room is messy. I tried to clean up but.... well you see how that turned out." She said, scratching the back of her head. "Hey, it's fine. My room is no better." I say  her. "Here, I'll take this for you." She said taking my backpack strap off my shoulder. "No no it's fine." I tell her. "No it's only polite, you are my guest after all." She insisted, giving me an adorable smile. "Fine, and plus I can't say no to that cute face." I giggled, handing her my blue backpack. 'Wait, did I just call her cute?!' I thought to myself.
Peridots P.O.V.
'Did she just call me cute?! Oh geez!' I thought to myself, taking her backpack and sitting it by my closet. We worked on our project for about an hour and a half until Lapis said something. "Hey, why don't we take a break?" "Ok, What should we do?" I asked. "I dunno, maybe a board game?" "Hmm, I know it's childish but Citrine has a box of dress up clothes." I say, kinda embarrassed. "Heh ok." She said giving me a warm smile. We walk over to Citrine's room a knock on the door. She answers with a warm smile. "Hey guys, what's up?" "Hey, we were wondering if we can borrow your box of dress up clothes?" I asked her. "Oh yea of course, come on inside and I'll get it." She said leaving the door open for Lapis and I to walk in. "So how are things going with your project?" Lapis asked Citrine. "Absolutely terrible. I don't know what the project should be on. And as you know, I'm gonna have a breakdown soon." Citrine answered. "Breakdown?" I asked confused. "You don't know about her breakdowns?" Lapis asked me forcing back a giggle. I shake my head no. "No one knows about my breakdowns except you, Lapis." Citrine tells her. "Oh well she gets upset, usually over homework, and has a breakdown." Lapis tells me. "Well we could help you." I offer. "Nah it's fine. Here's the box." She said. We thanked her and headed back to my room. I opened the box and started rummaging through it. I found a brown vest and khakis. There was also a hat, a red bow-tie, and a cane. I put them on and danced around a bit. "Hey Lapis look!" I said giggling. "Heh, nice outfit." She said smiling. Lapis watched as I put on different outfits for about an hour. We heard a knock at the door so I answered. "Hello?" "Hi Peridot! Hi Lapis!" Steven said. "Hey Steven!" Lapis and I said in unison. "Hey just wanted to tell you dinners ready. Oh and Lapis is invited to stay. If she wants that is." "Thanks Steven." I said smiling as he left down the hallway. "So,are you a staying?" I asked Lapis who was gathering her things. "I would love to, but it's getting late and I don't wanna break the curfew." She said putting her backpack on her back. "Alright we'll see you tomorrow!" I said as she walked out of my room. "See you tomorrow." She said back to me giving a warm smile and waking down the hall.

This took me like a week to write! WOW! Anyway, 999 words excluding this a/n. Well ok bai.
