Jasper: so the date is going to be Saturday at 7 k?

Jasper: not much enthusiasm eh?

Jasper: that's always the excuse
CT:bc it's true
Jasper: are you ok?
CT: you know the answer. I'm fine
Jasper: are you really ok?

I have a feeling she was serious about being here for me. Was she lying? I dunno. Maybe not. Maybe she was telling the truth.....

Peridots P.O.V.
         *TimeSkip to Saturday*
It's now Saturday and ever since what happened on Tuesday Citrine has been....distant. She's been staying in here room a lot- well that's technically her habitat so she's always there. She's been on her phone in class a lot. Lapis keeps saying she worried about her. But I'm pretty sure she'll be ok. I've seen her at her worst and trust me, she's perfectly fine.
I'm on my phone playing (idk choose) when I get a text.
Amethyst: Wussup guys! Pearl and I made a group chat!
Steven: Hey Amethyst. Hey Pearl. Cool!
Garnet: sup
Connie: hay!
Amethyst: where's Peri?
Peridot: here
Amethyst: Lapis? CT?
Lapis: sorry, was doing something
Amethyst: then where's Citrine?
Steven: I was just with her. Her phone died.
Purple Gurl: oh. Anyway everyone change ur names!
Bird mom: done!
A power couple: done it!
StarKidJr.: done!
Peridactyl: done!
WaterWitch200: did it!

Bird mom: So Rose is Here and so is Greg but only for emergencies.
Everyone: ok.
Purple Gurl: and we added bismuth! But she's busy rn. (Give me a name 4 her plz!)

Meanwhile while the group was talking. Lapis and Citrine were having a conversation of there own.

Lapis's P.O.V.
Me: so how did you get out of taking to the group?
BestGem: I got Steven to tell them my phone died.
Me: oh ok
Me: so I was thinking....
BestGem: What?
Me: what if you go on a double date?
BestGem: with who?
Me: with me of course
BestGem: but who would be you date?
Me: 🤷‍♀️
BestGem: What about Peridot? I  saw you blushing yesterday. Do you like her?
Me: n-no!
BestGem: surrree anyway, you can come if you want it's your call. You just have to bring someone so your not a third wheel.
Me: how would I be a third wheel if your not even gonna enjoy it?
BestGem: how do you know I won't?
Me: Citrine is that really a question
BestGem: hah good point. Well I'm gonna join the group chat. Cya!

Peri's P.O.V.
Peridactyl: no Amethyst I'm not going.
Purple Gurl: come onnnnn it's just a party!
Peridactyl: I don't do parties
Purple Gurl: But you've been to one before!
Peridactyl: And you saw what happened. No.
CT(nickname was changed bc it was cringeworthy ): come on it's just a party!
Purple Gurl: ayyyyyy sup CT!
CT: sup

CT: Garnet made her fall in the pool

BirdMom: and an accident!

Lapis's P.O.V.
*Time is: 6:57*
I was sitting on my bed texting Peridot when Citrine bursted through my door. "Hey Lapis!" She said waving. Peridot was behind her. I had asked Peridot to go with me, AS FRIENDS, and she agreed. I was already dressed when left.  I was wearing dark ripped jeans, a simple blue tee, and blue and white converse. Peridot was wearing a black shirt under a green flannel, black jeans, and green high-top converse. Citrine was wearing a plain orange shirt light blue jeans, and white converse. "Hey guys!" I said waving. "Come on, the taxi is outside waiting." She said pointing toward the front door. I was surprised to see her this happy. I got up and grabbed my bag. We left out and got in the taxi. "Where to know Miss?" Mr.Smiley asked. " 'Not exactly sure but here are the directions." She says, showing him her phone. "Ooh! I know where this is!" He said. "Really! What's the place called?" She asked. "Wait, are you going to this place for a date?" He asked her. "Yessss....why?" "I was told not to tell you were this is. Don't worry, it's a restaurant" he said. Citrine nodded understanding. "Hey Peridot?" I said quietly. "Yea?" She replied. "Thanks for agreeing to this. I know how you feel about Jasper and all....." I said. "It's no problem. We're doing this for Citrine." She says. "Yea." I said, smiling.
