A Double Date PT 2

Wait, are you going to this place for a date?" He asked her. "Yessss....why?" "I was told not to tell you were this is. Don't worry, it's a restaurant" he said. Citrine nodded understanding. "Hey Peridot?" I said quietly. "Yea?" She replied. "Thanks for agreeing to this. I know how you feel about Jasper and all....." I said. "It's no problem. We're doing this for Citrine." She says. Citrine' s P.O.V.
As Mr. Smiley driving, I thought of which restaurant we could be going to. There is a few that I know of. There's Pieology, Olive Garden, Denny's, Fish Stew Pizza well, I don't consider that a restaurant. And more that I can't think of. "You excited Citrine?" Lapis asked me playfully. "Yea, I'm soooo excited." I joked back. Suddenly I got a text from Amethyst in the group chat.
Purple Gurl: so CT, how's ur date goin?
CT: What date?! Who told you?!

"Ok who told the group chat about my date with Jasper?" I asked. "I may have told Amethyst." Peridot admitted. "I'm not even gonna wonder why." I mumbled, receiving another text from Amethyst.

Purple Gurl: the one u have with Jasper. Duhhhh
Bismuth: wait Jasper the bully?
CT: yeahh........
StarChildJr: why would you go on a date with Jasper?
CT: it's a long story.......
Bird Mom:I'll tell you.

I turned off my phone after that text, not wanting to remember what happened. "Alright here we are." Mr.Smiley said.....smiling. You got out and saw Jasper in a tux. 'Oh Irene why is she dressed up?' I thought walking toward Lapis and Peridot. "Why is she all dressed up?" Peridot asked. "That's what I wanna know." I replied. "But don't worry, I came prepared." I added, patting my purse.

Lapis's P.O.V.
The three walked up to the spot where Jasper was. "Hey Jasper. I see you came dressed up." Citrine said with a slight smile. "Hey! And yes I'd did. I wanted to look nice." She answered smiling. "And I see you brought these two." She added, emphasizing the last part. "Yeah um, they're here on a double date!" Citrine said as Peridot and I waved. "Runts.." Jasper mumbled. "Hey, we have a deal." Citrine reminded Jasper. "Yea yea anyway. I have a table reserved for us. I can get two more chairs for them two." Jasper said, leading the us inside Olive Garden. Jasper checked us in and asked for two more chairs. Though they gave us a booth instead. "Hey I'll be right back." Citrine said leaving the table. She signaled me to come with. "Same." I said leaving. "What?" I asked, entering the restroom. "Here" She through a dress at me. "Oh no. I'm not wearing this." "Why not?" She asked me. "Because I'm fine in this outfit." I answered. "But you'll look good in it. And plus, I'm not gonna be the only one wearing a dress." She told me. "Fine but only This once." I said taking the dress she handed me. I walked into a stall and changed into it. When I came out I didn't see Citrine so I assumed she was already done. I looked in the mirror to see how I looked. The dress was a deep blue and knee high. The rim of the dress was bejeweled with clear plastic jewels. 'Nice' I thought. I folded my clothes and headed out the restroom. I went back to the booth and handed my clothes to Citrine. She put the clothes in her purse. The first few minutes were just awkward silence. "So, hows everyone's day going?" Jasper asked, breaking the silence.  "Eh. Could be better." Citrine said. "Same, I have a History test on Monday." Peridot said. "Good luck." Jasper said. "T-Thank you." Peridot replied.

After some more awkward silence, a waiter walks up to our booth. "Hello my name is James, and I'll be your waiter today. What can you start you off with?" He said. We all ordered a glass of water and the waiter said that he'd be back with or drinks and ready to take our order.
—————-5minutes later————
James came back with our drinks and a basket of breadsticks. Then took out orders. Jasper got classic pasta, Citrine got ravioli, and me and Peridot got spaghetti. He left with our orders on his notepad.

Awkward silence. That's what we heard. Just awkward silence. ".....so...do any of you have an idea of where they want to go to college?" Peridot asked. "But college is 2 years away." Jasper said. "True but it's never to early to start thinking about it."  Citrine cut in. "Well, I was thinking on going to HomeWorld University." Jasper said. "I'm definitely going to Beach City University." Citrine said. "Same." Peridot agreed. "Lapis?" Peridot looked at me. ".......I haven't thought about it..." I said. And it's true. Blue and Yellow Diamond want all HomeWorld orphans to go to HomeWorld
University. People say it's because it's run by their two other sisters, the two other Diamonds. No one knows for sure though. No one has seen them. Well accept for the vice principal Pink Diamond. They say she's the sweetest Diamond sister ever. People have also said to have seen White Diamond. They say she glows in the darkness.....with the eyes off a snake......sharp claws like a bear......and a sword that she keeps tucked away in her office. Though, again, no one knows that for sure.

James brought our food and we began eating it as soon as he left.

We finished our plates and Jasper payed. The total was $56.31. "Uhh, do you have enough for that?" Citrine asked. "Yep." She answered and placed three 20 dollar bills down. We stared in shock at how much money she had. "Jasper how much is your allowance?" Peridot asked. "5 a day." She replied. 5 times 7 is 35. So she makes $35 a week! I get payed 5 every two days, and get 4 for the last day (Sunday). $19. Peridot had probably figured out the same as I did because her expression was one of shock. She left the money and told the cashier to keep the change. We left the tester and and Jasper began to talk. "Well, I hope the three of you had a great time." She said. We all nodded. "Yes. Thank you." Citrine said. "It's almost curfew, so I should get going." I said. "Agreed. We'll be on our way. Good night you two." Jasper said. "Wait, I'll come with you guys." Citrine offered. "Me too." Peridot agreed. "Then let's go shall we." Jasper said as she started walking. Peridot and Citrine followed. Citrine walked behind me and Peridot next to Jasper. "Uh, L-Lapis?" Peridot asked. "Yeah?" I answered. She stayed silent. Then lifted her arm up for me to lock arms with her. I smiled and licked my arm with hers.

Citrine P.O.V.
Lapis and Peridot had locked arms with each other. How cute. Jasper nudged and I looked over. She had her arm out with an awkward smile on. I looked at her arm then her face and back to her arm. 'You know what why not.' I thought linking arms with her.

——another Timeskip—————
We made it to the HomeWorld orphanage right before curfew. Lapis, Peridot, and I said our good byes. Laps went inside and Peridot started walking ahead. Leaving Jasper and I. "So, will there be a second date?" Jasper asked. I thought for a second. She was generous today but was she serious? You never know. "Probably not but.........we'll see." I said. Jasper held her expression, a half smile. "Ok, let me know if you reconsider." She said.  "Ok, I will." I said. "Goodnight!" Jasper said, walking inside the orphanage. "Hey Peridot wait up!" I yelled catching up to her. "Would you?" She started. "Would I What?" I asked. "Would you consider going on a second date?" She continued. "I-I don't know honestly." I answered. "Well, choose wisely." She said. "Choose what?" I asked. "Choose What makes you happy, of course." She said, opening the door  for me to enter.
