*James POV*
I decided to take a walk. I walk outside my house and then to the park. I walked around the park until I got to the pond. I saw a girl close to the water. I get closer and I realized it was Emily.
"Be careful, if you get too close you might fall in," I say.
She turns around and sees me. She doesn't say anything so I decide to apologize.
"Sorry about tricking you earlier. It wasn't meant to be mean," I say.
She looks at me and smiles.
"It's fine. You didn't have to apologize. It just caught me off guard." She said.
"You looked embarrassed and upset, then you left as though you were in a hurry. I thought it was because of me."
"Sorry. It wasn't because of you. I just needed to find that alley you found me in, but then I realized I didn't know where it was. I needed to ask you but I didn't know where your house was so I couldn't ask you."
"I could take you if you want me to."
"You don't have to."
"I know, but it would be my honor."
She nodded her head and I offered my hand. She took it and I helped her up.We walked until we got to the hotel and I took her around back and showed her where I found her.
"This is where I found you and you were unconscious," I say.
"Thank you." She said studying the alley.
"I have a question for you. How did you get there? Cause you weren't there until the flash."
She took a deep breath.
"It's a long story."
"I've got time."
"Well, I remember being in my office at work to try this experiment. My friend had tried it and nobody knew where she was. I was hesitant at first because I thought she had died. My boss threatened to fire me if I didn't so I did it. The thing I had to try was a clear, blue pill. I took it and now I'm here at a place that I don't even know where it is."
I looked away for a second then I looked at her.
"Well, you're in Holly Town, Texas," I said.
"I came from Gloom Town, Utah," she said.
"Well, you are still in America."
"Well, that's a relief, I thought I came from a different dimension.""Do you have a place to stay?" I ask her.
"No. I really don't have any friends here." She replied with her head down.
"That's not true."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean you can count me as a friend."She looked at me with her eyes sparkling.
"You can stay at my house until you find your friend," I say.
"Thank you. I think I just might."
"Well, I live a few miles from here."
"Okay, well... I got to go. Thanks."
"Bye."
"Bye."
I watch her as she leaves. I was going to ask her out... but maybe I should wait a couple of weeks.*Emily's POV*
"You can stay at my house until you find your friend." He said.
I was so happy he said that and I decided to play it cool.
"Thank you. I think I just might." I said.
"I live a few miles from here."
"Okay, well... I got to go. Thanks." 'Got to go' Emily what is wrong with you?
"Bye."
"Bye."
