Eleanor's P.O.V.

I woke up to my usual irritating alarm clock on my phone. As I silenced it I grabbed it to check my notifications as every morning. I was a bit surprised to see I had a text message from Dick.

Dickhead - Mornin' beautiful 😉

I rolled my eyes with a light blush as soon as I read it.

Bookworm 101 - What the heck Grayson? It's too early for your flirts

I actually like texting with him. I like texting in general. I find myself more relaxed typing instead of talking. It's always been that way for me. And when I text with him I get the chance to be myself 100%. It feels good.

I checked my Instagram really quick and then got out of my pyjamas and into some confortable clothes. I grabbed my phone again along with the latest book I started reading and made my way to Bartholomew's room.

As soon as I put water and food on his bowl I sat on the couch there. Then, I grabbed my phone to see if Dick had replied, and he had.

Dickhead - Just admit that my text made your day 😏

Bookworm 101 - I'll admit to it if it becomes true

Bookworm 101 - For the time being tho

Bookworm 101 - 😝😝😝

I smiled at my phone screen. A good thing I like texting too, cause until he confronts the Bats, I'm not going to be able to see Dick.

At that thought I frowned and turned to look outside the window. I could not see Dasan but I knew he was out there watching me. I disliked the idea so much...

The vibrations of my phone on my hand turned my attention back to it.

[Dickhead is requesting a call]

I stared at it in curiosity and slight panic. He wanted to face chat? Why?

I reluctantly answered the call and opened my front camera. His charming smile was soon smiling at me on the screen and I couldn't help but take a moment to catch my breath. On the backround I could see a kitchen-like setting.

"Wow, I wasn't sure you were gonna answer me." he said with a warm smile.

"Me neither." I replied honestly. "Why did you call in the first place?" I asked him then.

I certainly didn't feel as comfortable as I did while texting, but it was still better than talking face to face.

"Well, you did say you were going to be under house arrest for a while. I didn't know for how long and I just couldn't go on with the idea that I wouldn't be able to see your gorgeous face any time soon." Dick answered with his charming smile. His answer looked and felt genuine. It made me blush.

"Don't just say things like that! You're such a flirt." I said, avoiding eye contact. I heard him chuckle from the other end of the phone and I turned to give him a light glare.

"I'm just being honest." he winked at me playfully. That only caused my blush to worsen.

"If you keep it up like that I'm gonna end the phone call and think it twice before I even text you again." I threatened him. In all honesty, I just didn't like it when he could see me blush.

"Fine, fine. But it's not like I'm not used to you blushing everytime I basically breath." he teased me. "I like it though. It's cute." he then added with a loving smile.
