Eleanor's P.O.V.

"Wait, he what?!" came Carina's voice from the other end of the phone call.

"Yeah, a couple of days ago. I wasn't planning on telling you about it, but I get this weird feeling recently, it's like I'm being watched." I told her as I parked my car in its usual parking place and came out of it, locking it with just a click of the right button on my keys.

I started walking towards the Manor's entrance as I continued talking to Carina on the phone.

"I don't get it, I know the two of you don't have the best relationship but you never exactly told me what he did to you for you to be so spooked with just a phone call from him. Did he abuse you?" my best friend asked concerned about me.

I never really told her everything about him. I couldn't. I wasn't allowed to. It's all part of the deal...

"Eh, no. I'm surprised he didn't actually... look, it's complicated. We just don't have a good relationship. He has this... this dark demeanour." I tried to explain. "The point is, he called me after all those years and then I suddenly start feeling like I'm being watched." I said as I reached the entrance and took out my keys to open the door. "Do you think it's just my paranoia?" I asked her then.

"Girl, you are the most paranoid person I've ever met. If this dude really didn't do anything bad to you then I think it's all just in your head." she replied.

I opened the door and stepped in. "I swear to you, he didn't abuse me. He's just such an assh-" I closed the door behind me and then stopped mid-sentence when I turned to see Mr Filtzgerald with Mr Wayne, Richard Grayson and Damian Wayne standing a few feet from the entrance, shaking hands.

No one said anything about Wayne coming here today... And why the heck did he bring his son and Grayson with him?

They all turned to look at me and I immediately blushed.

"Em... I'll call you later." I said quietly to Carina on the phone.

"Wait, wha-" I cut her off as I ended the phone call.

"I apologise for the interuption. I promice it will not happen again." I said shyly as I bowed a bit apologetically.

Mr Filtzgerald had a seamingly indifferent face expression on, while Mr Wayne smiled kindly at me. His son looked as if he'd rather be doing something else at the moment and couldn't care less about anyone or anything in this room. And then, there was Grayson. Smirking his ass off upon seeing me. I tried to ignore him.

"Yes. Now off you go." Mr Filtzgerald said oh-so-rudely.

I nodded at him, bowing a bit while apologising again and turned to leave towards Barthalomew's room.

As I was walking away I heard Grayson ask "Who was that, if I may ask?"

"Oh, no one important." Mr Filtzgerald answered, causing me to glare at the floor as I walked.

I might as well be a nothing to the likes of him. What an asshole the man I work for is. If he weren't paying me so much for such an easy job I'd quit in a heartbeat.

I reached Barry's room and found Veronica already in there, tapping her foot with her arms crossed.

"Where were you?!" she asked me as soon as she saw me.

I closed the door behind me and looked at her confused as Barry came running at me. I took out the toy I brought him from the bag I was holding and threw it for him to go fetch it.
