I sat down with my tray of food next to my friend Pearl. ''Hey there you look very presentable today'' Pearl said sarcastically I rolled my eyes. ''So there's a good chance you or me or we could get called today'' Pearl said with a smile.

I sigh ''what to soon? I'll knock on wood if I can find some...'' Pearl said starting to ramble. ''Pearl something is weird about this place and I know what your going to say just like your purple hair or its all in your head but believe me please'' I pleaded.

Pearl frowned. ''Listen we are free these people saved us we are surrounded by people like us everyone is friends yeah I get it you think it's weird and everything but you got to give it a try''.

I took a deep breath. ''No you don't get it and you are not trying to think of it my way because you think this place is free from all the troubles in life which is not'' I stated clearly annoyed with her. ''Maybe if you tried being positive once in your life then maybe you'd see it my way which is the correct way'' Pearl said trying to be calm.

That's when I lose it. ''The correct way!? You are insane just because I'm curious because there's a possibility that these people are not who they say they are'' I said raising my voice at her. She looked at me like I was insane and then her eyes moved away from mine and started looking at all the others staring at us. ''Sit down their staring at us'' Pearl whispered to me ''let them Stare'' I said confidently and careless. I could careless about people I don't know thinking I'm something why should I? I don't know them they don't know me.

As Dinner ended we all went back to our rooms. At least that's what people call them I practically call them our cells because do you see the locks they have on the doors and I asked about it they said incase if someone broke in they want the doors to be secure. But I'm pretty sure they want people not getting out as always I'm known as weird and insane for thinking that.

I climb up to the top of the bed bunk. Pearl lays below me ''Where's the other girls?'' Pearl asked curiously and a small bit of concern in her voice. ''I think two of them got chosen to go with Janson'' I said as I laid down on the bed looking up at the plain ceiling. ''Lucky them it's just you and me and the other girl what's her name again?'' Pearl asked ''I think her name was Kathy'' I said unsure. '' it's Catherine'' a voice said I looked down to see the dirty blonde hair girl with bright green eyes staring up at me ''my mistake sorry I forgot your name no offense but you don't talk a lot''. Pearl sent a look to me ''what I said no offense calm down mum'' I said jokily Pearl rolled her eyes at my joke.

Catherine looked between Pearl and I. ''Are you two best friends?'' Catherine asked ''No we're enemies'' I said sarcastically. ''I'm so sorry about her and yes we are'' Pearl said calmly Catherine chuckled ''No it's fine'' Catherine said reassuring Pearl. ''What maze group are you?'' I asked Catherine ''D'' she answered ''we're both from Group B full of all girls then one boy''.

Catherine looked shocked. ''What?'' I asked now puzzled why she was so shocked ''One boy?'' She asked. ''Yep'' Pearl and I answered at the same time ''did the girls fight over him?'' She asked. Pearl and I both looked at each other then doubled over in laughter.

Catherine frowned. ''What's so funny?'' She asked ''Nothing'' Pearl replied trying to obtain her laughter like me. ''Anyways we can talk more in the morning I'm tired'' I said as I turned around. ''Woah what's that on your neck'' Catherine shouted I turned around ''turn back around'' Pearl ordered. Catherine pulled down my collar ''I'm going to read the thing on your neck okay?'' Pearl said not caring if I said okay or not. ''B12 The Spark'' Pearl read off my neck I made a puzzled face what was that supposed to mean? ''do you have one Pearl?'' I asked. ''B8 the believer'' Catherine read off Pearl's neck ''what do I believe in that made me named the believer?'' Pearl asked we all shrugged. Lastly we pulled down Catherine's collar I gulped ''D10 the Liar'' I read off her neck.

She turned around ''I'm not a liar'' she said as she frowned. ''These tattoos don't mean anything I mean what does the spark even mean?'' I said. ''yeah they are just tattoos it doesn't even matter'' Pearl said as she sat down next to Catherine trying to comfort her.
