A crank lunged for her I grabbed her arm pulling her close to me. ''Watch out'' Pearl shouted as another Crank reached out. We were surrounded in a room of cranks Teresa and I held on to each other in fear we were trapped all I could think of how I was going to die.

A light turned on revealing an short haired girl standing there under the light that shined above her. ''I see you met our guard dogs'' She said as she walked towards us avoiding all cranks. ''Stand back'' Catherine and Minho said she just looked at us ''You guys look like shit'' She said we just looked at her no one said a word back. ''Come on'' She said as she started walking we all kept our place.

She turned around noticing we weren't following her. ''Unless you want to stay here with them'' She said sassily we all follow her because we knew each other answers we were definitely not staying down there with the cranks not after Winston.

As she opened the door the room was huge. People everywhere and hammocks kind of reminded me of the glade as we walked through everyone. ''Come on Jorge wants to see you'' the girl said as we followed behind her ''Who's Jorge?'' Pearl asked. ''Yeah who is this guy?'' Catherine asked ''You'll see'' the girl answered with a smirk on her face. ''No one came out of the Scorch in a long time you've got him curious'' She paused as she looked Thomas up and down ''Me too'' she said. 

Pearl looked at me and motioned behind us I looked behind us to see a few weird guys following closely behind us. I looked back at Pearl she shook her head at me meaning she believed that something bad would happen. ''Probably just for protection like if we pulled out a weapon'' I said trying to reassure her usually that's what she did but if she really believed something wrong was going to happen then I believed her.

We headed up some stairs as we followed her up the stairs I started to feel uncomfortable. I looked at Pearl giving her look she nodded in agreement. We stopped to see supposedly Jorge ''Do you ever feel like the world is against you?'' He asked us we didn't say anything. ''Three questions where did you come from? Where are you going? How can I profit it?'' He said. None of us spoke a word we all just stood there looking at one another and at him what were we supposed to say anyways? We don't know if we can trust him.

Jorge looked at all of us. ''Don't all answer at once'' He said ''We are heading for the mountains looking for the right arm'' Thomas said snickers and chuckles came from the men behind us. ''Shut up'' I said to the Men glares were sent my way but they silenced down. ''You're looking for ghost you mean'' Jorge said as he took a sip of his drink ''Question number two where did you come from?'' Jorge asked ''That's our business'' Minho replied.

The men suddenly grabbed us a man grabbed me I started punching and kicking squirming to get out of his grip. ''Stop it girlie'' The man said ''Get you're gross hands off of me'' I said sternly. Brenda scanned Thomas's neck ''Get the hell off me'' Thomas shouted ''Shut up you big baby'' Brenda said. ''You were right'' She said looking up at Jorge as she gave Jorge the scanner.

Jorge put his glasses on looking down at the scanner. ''I'm sorry looks like you're tagged you came from Wicked which means you're very valuable'' Jorge said as the men started pushing us close into a little group as they surrounded us I grabbed on to Pearl.

Before we knew it we were hung up and upside down. ''Good job Thomas just listen to what the man has to say really working out for us'' Minho said ''Shut up Minho'' Thomas said. ''Maybe they will let us down?'' Catherine said ''Yeah I'm guessing you aren't smart or you're brain damaged'' Aris said to Catherine.  ''What's you're problem with me? I don't even know you'' Catherine said glaring at Aris.
